This was an unplanned video. I am working with Breeo for advertising on my main channel and wasn't asked or required to make this video or say anything about the product. However, I unexpectedly had a daddy-daughter day on one of my planned workdays so I figured I'd be productive and still make a video.
Forget the pit - you’re so lucky to have such a sweet little angel - and she’s so lucky to have such a loving poppa - it was a joy spending some time with ya’s! 👍🏼☺️
Loved the daddy daughter randomness of this video. Very authentic and your explanation of safe distance from the firepit was great. I have a 2.5 year old also and I'm getting the Breeo X30 for my patio thats getting built and I'm going to use this video to talk to my daughter. There aren't many detailed X30 videos out there like your. Great job.
Daddy daughter days are the best!!! I have 3 kiddos, boy-13, girl-11, girl-8, and I have loved doing projects with each of them all these years! Enjoy the time you have with them!
WOW! she is growing so fast! You are one very lucky man. TIp: to keep your fire pit burning clean, remember to empty the ashes after every burn. By design, these pits (which I love ) draw into the bottom along the "center line" (the cross) in the base. Should the ash build up and clog those inlets it will significantly reduce the burn efficiency and may result in the pit smoking, even if the upper inlets are functioning properly.
Oh my gosh! I love this video. Great job with your baby girl and this grandma is going to be having the same talk with my grandkids once we get ours set up this fall! It has been sitting in the box in our garage since we got it last year.
My boy is just under 2. I cant wait for him to be old enough for him to "help me" on projects like this. What awesome memories she will have of this time with her dad.
Mine was 51 a couple months back. First female was my first grandchild, who went off to "UhGa". Sweet, sweet moments, great for making memories to cherish when the younguns are making their own families.
I have a Solo stove which is similar concept. One thing I noticed you doing was splitting the wood into smaller chunks. before putting it on. I've never done that but I can see how that might make some sense for a more efficient fire. Thanks for sharing.
many happy cooks my friend; I've had mine for 3 years now and I hope you enjoy as much as I. Let the little lady help you along the way; she'll learn to respect fire
Jay this is a great video! I have an almost 2 year old and she goes everywhere with me and loves to help. That part about not playing in the puddle is a conversation we have everyday!!
I got a solo stove just after labor day. It's nice, but I almost wish I had gone with the Breeo. Not enough to do anything about swapping though. Great video Jay.
Ash will eventually get under it and stain the cement. Put down a pan or a get a pressure washer. Daddy days are days to always remember. Enjoy your pit
I just bought a Solo Yukon, and the Breeo looks a lot nicer based on your video. The metal on the Solo is like a soda can in comparison. And the Breeo has a much better grilling system. Of course the Breeo is a lot more expensive.
Lol, kids and water, kids and boxes. Be a sport, jump in the water with your daughter, splash it up, you'll have fun, so will she and you'll make memories.
When she asked about "getting into it" ; she meant the box Dad. Also, "puddling" (going in the water) is fun; get with it Dad. She is only little for a very short time, enjoy.
When you ask a question to a 3 year old and you get I don’t know for every thing is cute, just to let you know…at 15 they still answer I don’t know lol
For sure. We've had it for about a month now and luckily have had wonderful weather since getting it. We're using it 4-5 times a week now. So much fun for the whole family.
"I think there's a C" lol good one! do you think these types of firepits are worth it considering "C"? I'm looking into either having one made in the ground or getting one of these.
Very cool video but, Yikes!, that is one pricey fire pit. Probably worth it because of the amount of labor that goes into making something like that and the material but still a bit of sticker shock.
I have two girls 25 and 27 right now and I miss the days when you were that age,all I have is memories, pictures and videos now I’m waiting for grandkids
Grab some dried hardwood from Lowes, Publix, etc. The real question is, is your daughter gonna even let you be in the next video?😆 Enjoy these days, sir, they grow up fast ❤

Could you tell me at what rate the 30" burns through logs? Also does it put off a lot of warmth for sitting around the fire?

I love the interaction of you and your daughter! Enjoy these years!

She is too cute. Mine is 2.5 now and it's so fun now that she's having conversations.
Same here! Such a fun age!
The real fun begins when they start having opinions. lol Too cute, Jay!
Oh boy just wait mine is 26 and boy does it get better you will need to start a 2nd tool shop just to pay for prom lol
Trying to do a project with a kid running around next to you. I was the exact same at home xD
Or how to take 3 times as long
Classic: we’re not going to play in the water. Next scene: playing in the water. 😂
OMG she’s so adorable!😍 And the firepit is gorgeous too! 🔥

Looks like a great fire pit, Jay. Daddy-daughter day is definitely a pleasure with a cutie like her.

Jay your videos are nice, but they get elevated each time your daughter makes an appearance!
So much cuteness.
I love how she parked her bicycle in her cardboard garage. She is so cute. I remember when my girl was just as cute :)
Oh the “fun” times to come, fire pit looks great 👍 good concept
Very cool brother!
Thanks for the video, going to buy it now. Your daughter is the absolute cutest. Made my morning :)

She is just too cute. I miss that age. Not every day can be a work day…but most every day can be productive. Way to go.
Just too cute, thanks for sharing Jay.

Daddies should ALWAYS play in the puddles.
Fun review, but your daughter stole the show! Adorable!
Very cool firepit and very cute daughter!
I got a solo stove just after labor day. It's nice, but I almost wish I had gone with the Breeo. Not enough to do anything about swapping though. Great video Jay.
I have an older model and it is a really good pit. Well made
She is too cute. Enjoy stove. I went with the Solo Stove Yukon and love it
Ç Wet Wood.... Chopped Brisket sliders for breakfast are good too🤣😂🤣
Great video, new sub
Loved the daddy daughter interaction
Ash will eventually get under it and stain the cement. Put down a pan or a get a pressure washer. Daddy days are days to always remember. Enjoy your pit
Since this video was shot I put it on a two layer paver platform.
Good job all around dad!
Nice. Good Daddy too!😊

What size did you get? This would be great for our new cedar decked patio
I can't get the information about this fire pit because your daughter is so cute.
Has the heat on the bottom caused any issues with the patio surface?
Lol, kids and water, kids and boxes. Be a sport, jump in the water with your daughter, splash it up, you'll have fun, so will she and you'll make memories.
We do often. :)
Can you still get the x series with wider ring???
Excellent video! Has anyone ever told you that you look like, and your manner is very similar to the actor Matt Damon - you could be brothers.
When she asked about "getting into it" ; she meant the box Dad. Also, "puddling" (going in the water) is fun; get with it Dad. She is only little for a very short time, enjoy.
1:41 C - the wood is not dry enough.
I saw a video where good dry hard woods the best
@@robertduncan2742 yep, the drier the wood, the better it burns.
would a 42" be overkill? any pros and cons of 42" vs 30"?
Love it! Your daughter is cute, enjoy it while you can! Now I'm gonna have to convince myself NOT to buy this fire pit.
When you ask a question to a 3 year old and you get I don’t know for every thing is cute, just to let you know…at 15 they still answer I don’t know lol
She is so cute Jay.
What an adorable princess to put in the video. Are you planning a video about cooking on your sophisticated new grill?
I have the X-30 too. That thing is awesome, but you better feed it lots of wood :P
For sure. We've had it for about a month now and luckily have had wonderful weather since getting it. We're using it 4-5 times a week now. So much fun for the whole family.
Amazing human being
🔥🔥🔥🔥
"I think there's a C" lol good one! do you think these types of firepits are worth it considering "C"? I'm looking into either having one made in the ground or getting one of these.
We really like ours. The 30" is a monster tho. Uses a ton of wood. We have the smaller Y series for camping and actually like it better.
Soooo cute.
Well I guess I “do know” what my next purchase is😂😂
The daughter stole the show...what was he unboxing? :)
Wayyyyy too cute. Give up the woodworking, more of her interactions lol
Mommy is going to hate it … starting fires on daddy daughter day lol
Very cool video but, Yikes!, that is one pricey fire pit. Probably worth it because of the amount of labor that goes into making something like that and the material but still a bit of sticker shock.
And the winner of the cutest kid ever contest goes to. . .
Cute as shit...oh the fire pit is OK too. :-)
Ain’t nothing like daddy‘s little girl
I have two girls 25 and 27 right now and I miss the days when you were that age,all I have is memories, pictures and videos now I’m waiting for grandkids
@0:43 How cute is that!?!? :)
Grab some dried hardwood from Lowes, Publix, etc. The real question is, is your daughter gonna even let you be in the next video?😆
Enjoy these days, sir, they grow up fast ❤
This pit must chomp through wood so quickly.
She's 2 cute.
Go in the water with her next time she asks even if you don't wanna.
