Cool to see as a Dutchie that you've had a great time in Amsterdam. The LEGO store there is indeed impressive. The Billund Denmark series has been fantastic. Keep up the good work you're doing!
People of Amsterdam take their cycling very seriously. To the point where they protested against the local authorities when the Rijksmuseum renovations were initially going to take away their right to cycle through the middle. They forced a re-design and so if you visit the museum you will see a tunnel that takes you from museum way to the expansive gardens at the back where the Van Gogh museum is off to one side.
thanks for sharing you journey to Billund and Amsterdam. I think I must at this to my next Europe trip... Amsterdam really inspires MOC building of their magnificent buildings😁like visiting the castles in UK.
Bricksie, as a fellow Canadian, I went to Europe for the first time last month and visited the largest Lego store in the world (Leicester Square Lego store in London) and it was very similar to this one in Amsterdam. Two stories with a massive two story sized Big Ben lego set. The store was amazing and filled with Harry Potter goodies and other stuff. A must see if you are ever there.
i'm super jealous of you, i can't believe that as a dutch person i've never been to the lego store in amsterdam. i don't even think i've been to amsterdam, maybe when i was really young. and yes, the amount of bikes here i crazy, most kids go to school on bike and many go on bike to their work. it's pretty normal for us to see so many bikes
Glad to hear you had a great time in Amsterdam. I was there back in 2011 and enjoyed it very much myself too. They do take biking very seriously out there and it is fun to do.
Yes.. woow amazing you visited the Lego store in Amsterdam. I work there. Unfortanilly I wasnt there 😢. The stairs are inspired by Escher. A famous artist. But super cool to see you visiting the Lego store. Hope you enjoyed it.
Jordan man, all you got to do is put the Lego bag handles on your bike handles and let the bike do the work. You wont crash It's easy lol. Missed opportunity
Nice visit you did to Danmark and the Netherlands. And visiting the Store in Amsterdam. Lol I live 2,5 hours of it. And it still stands on my to do list 🤣👍
Happy u enjoyed Amsterdam. If you ever come back to holland. Might I suggest you to the City alkmaar and then the shop perron 4. It has some very old retired sets in the back
Watched on the ICE Nurnberg to Munich, biking in Europe is totally different then in Canada, happy that you showed or stay in Amsterdam it looks beautiful there
How nice that you were in the Netherlands. I live in Rotterdam, which is also a beautiful city, but we don't have a Lego store here, which is a pity. I always go to The Hague, which is also a nice city. greetings to your wife and kids
Welcome to Holland! Our country where you found the Lego store in Amsterdam and even dared to rent a bike and take a bike tour. Hope you will take your wife and kids sometime! But don't try to buy your coffee in the one of many coffee shops in Amsterdam. They sell other stuff. 😀
I'm glad that your trip to Europe was a success. It's definitely nicer to travel with a family but next time you'll know what to do and go to😊, like a tour guide😃. You need to do a European Lego trip, through various countries and finish it on Croatian coast, even though we don't have an official Lego store😅.
Really enjoyed following your trip to Denmark and Amsterdam. If you travel to Europe again and bring the twins, you can travel to London on Eurostar train from Amsterdam. We have some great Lego stores in the UK and a theme park near Heathrow airport. Great work Jordan, but next time, claim your tax back, you save a lot of money!
I'm really excited about this vid🎉 I love Amsterdam/Netherlands & the Dutch! Great to see actual footage of one of the coolest cities ever❤ Nice to know there are soo many Dutch Bricksie fans👍
Glad you had a nice time in both Denmark and Amsterdam. What you could've done was ship most of the stuff home allowing you to buy more things. Since in summer of 2011 my family shipped things to our house instead of taking them on to the plane. But your right about the amount of money for that both countries can be expensive, but thats an idea you could do.
Just a tip for the tourists: cycling with a phone in your hand is not allowed, with a fine of € 159,- when police stops you. And it's certainly different, riding a bike in The Netherlands 😂
I was in Billund just over a year ago and got myself that Billund Airport set. I'm surprised that they retired it? Seems obvious to keep it on the shelves.
You went to brouwerij ‘t IJ! That place is awesome, hope you enjoyed some good brews while there. What is the name of the bulk Lego store in Germany that you mentioned at the end of the video?
Oh my gosh! I live in the south of the Netherlands without Lego stores. I had to work in the area of Amsterdam last Thursday, so I went to the Lego store in Amsterdam before my work appointment. If I calculate it right you were there on Thursday as well? I might have just missed you 😮
Lots of European cities are cool - Copenhagen is really good if you get a chance and London - The Lego store is Paris has a massive brick built Arc de triumph and an Eiffel Tower bigger than the set
But... I live in The Netherlands, and went there more then a few times.. how in the world did you just show me a hand full of brickbuild decoration of the store, that I've never seen before.
Great to see you visit Amsterdam and ofcourse the LEGO store I frequently visit! Hope it inspired you to create something based on Dutch canal houses ;)
Cool to see as a Dutchie that you've had a great time in Amsterdam. The LEGO store there is indeed impressive. The Billund Denmark series has been fantastic. Keep up the good work you're doing!
This is like a tourism video combined with a lego video... a great combination!
Welcome to my country. Great to see that you had such a fun time in Amsterdam. Keep up the good work. Your video's are awsome!

@@JayAlbion oh yes. They have their own rules on the road 🙈😁
That was also the first thing I thought of when I saw the video 😅.
@@alexzweers It could be a nasty surprise for the budget for sure 😬
I was in Billund just over a year ago and got myself that Billund Airport set. I'm surprised that they retired it? Seems obvious to keep it on the shelves.
They had lilac masonry bricks at our LEGO store in Hawai’i , but haven’t seen them restock for some time. 😢
Wish I could have meet you, I go to that Lego Store 1-2x a week.
