Amsterdam LEGO STORE & Wrapping up my Denmark Trip

- In this VLOG I check out two LEGO stores! The Billund airport store can be accessed in departures after you go through security. It wasn't really anything special but it did have a really cool sculpture of an airline piolet. After finishing up at the airport I caught a flight to Amsterdam! The store located in Amsterdam was spectacular! It had so many cool sculptures and one of the best PAB selections I have ever seen! A fantastic store to say the least. I addition to going to the two stores I also take you on a little bitof a tour of Amsterdam... what a beautiful city!

Cool to see as a Dutchie that you've had a great time in Amsterdam. The LEGO store there is indeed impressive. The Billund Denmark series has been fantastic. Keep up the good work you're doing!
This is like a tourism video combined with a lego video... a great combination!
People of Amsterdam take their cycling very seriously. To the point where they protested against the local authorities when the Rijksmuseum renovations were initially going to take away their right to cycle through the middle. They forced a re-design and so if you visit the museum you will see a tunnel that takes you from museum way to the expansive gardens at the back where the Van Gogh museum is off to one side.
Another Dutchie here and it's so much fun to see you walking and cycling around Amsterdam! Hope you had a blast!

i'm super jealous of you, i can't believe that as a dutch person i've never been to the lego store in amsterdam. i don't even think i've been to amsterdam, maybe when i was really young. and yes, the amount of bikes here i crazy, most kids go to school on bike and many go on bike to their work. it's pretty normal for us to see so many bikes
Amsterdam is such a beautiful city, I've been a couple of times from the UK and loved every minute there. I'm sure you had a great time visiting.

Just a tip for the tourists: cycling with a phone in your hand is not allowed, with a fine of € 159,- when police stops you. And it's certainly different, riding a bike in The Netherlands 😂

Bricksie, as a fellow Canadian, I went to Europe for the first time last month and visited the largest Lego store in the world (Leicester Square Lego store in London) and it was very similar to this one in Amsterdam. Two stories with a massive two story sized Big Ben lego set. The store was amazing and filled with Harry Potter goodies and other stuff. A must see if you are ever there.

Glad you had a nice time in both Denmark and Amsterdam. What you could've done was ship most of the stuff home allowing you to buy more things. Since in summer of 2011 my family shipped things to our house instead of taking them on to the plane. But your right about the amount of money for that both countries can be expensive, but thats an idea you could do.
Should have fix a meet and greet in Amsterdam, lot of friends would have been happy to see you in person!

Really enjoyed following your trip to Denmark and Amsterdam. If you travel to Europe again and bring the twins, you can travel to London on Eurostar train from Amsterdam. We have some great Lego stores in the UK and a theme park near Heathrow airport.

Welcome to Holland! Our country where you found the Lego store in Amsterdam and even dared to rent a bike and take a bike tour. Hope you will take your wife and kids sometime! But don't try to buy your coffee in the one of many coffee shops in Amsterdam. They sell other stuff. 😀

I'm glad that your trip to Europe was a success. It's definitely nicer to travel with a family but next time you'll know what to do and go to😊, like a tour guide😃. You need to do a European Lego trip, through various countries and finish it on Croatian coast, even though we don't have an official Lego store😅.

Lots of European cities are cool - Copenhagen is really good if you get a chance and London - The Lego store is Paris has a massive brick built Arc de triumph and an Eiffel Tower bigger than the set

I was in Billund just over a year ago and got myself that Billund Airport set. I'm surprised that they retired it? Seems obvious to keep it on the shelves.
They had lilac masonry bricks at our LEGO store in Hawai’i , but haven’t seen them restock for some time. 😢

Oh my gosh! I live in the south of the Netherlands without Lego stores. I had to work in the area of Amsterdam last Thursday, so I went to the Lego store in Amsterdam before my work appointment.
