Another good method is crafting redwood birdhouses. It requires 90 crafting which is kinda steep but you can make about 700k an hour with current prices and its also way more afk than tanning hides with magic. The only downside is the birdhouses sometimes take a while to sell but so far they haven't taken more than 3 hours to sell. You also get okay crafting XP as well.
For soft clay, I usually don't bother with checking my inventory. I check for a point in humidify's animation, I believe it's when the cloud begins to actually rain. Then I bank and start again without ever touching my f keys.

I recently started my theiving grind and was at vyres from 82-85 managed to get lucky with a blood shard drop! Highly recommend it to anyone looking to do theiving. If you intend to do vyres I suggest using the house to the right if the entrance of the sepulchre, there is a wine spawn which can significantly extend trips by using the redemption method and chugging that afterwards

with the humidify you dont need to change from your spellbook ever, just wait until you see the flash of lightning or hear the sound of the thunder then bank, when you close the bank it goes back to the spellbook :)

I got Rocky from doing Elves from 85-99! Also ran over to vyres and got lucky after about 90 minutes getting the blood shard drop from them! Was finally able to afford the Bowfa to start a rebuild and boss now!

Pro tip, just play LMS. its free, fun and you print money even after a day of practice. I can make 2m an hour and I am by no means a great pvper and the switching, tick timing and praying makes me inifinitely better at pvming too
One of the best decisions of my life was making a level 3 skiller. I found a nice clan with a youtuber, made some new friends, and all my sustain is from skilling. After combat maxing my main, it all got so boring and I missed the feeling of grinding skills for something meaningful.
fwiw you dont need 74 mining for zalcano, you can start it at 70, when you finish SOTE, and actually on leagues you can do it at literally any mining level, but it does suck at the very low ones

Stop buying bonds. Work for 5 hours irl and pay for a year membership for your favorite game I used to slave away every 2 weeks for bond money. Not worth your time, enjoy the game!

random is random, but my worst pickpocketing streak is going over 2k pickpockets for the enhanced crystal teleport seeds, and the absolute worst was when i did over ten-thousand (!) pickpockets from the vyres before i got my first blood shards, so always be mindful of your methods, or how insane/sane you are
It’s not that i dislike pvm. Literally getting my first vorkath kill and my fire cape are 2 of my favourite moments from playing this game, but the reality is that runescape has like 16 non combat skills and all of them are useless except agility. They don’t necessarily have to be super profitable, but so many skills are just dead content aside from diary rewards. Woodcutting, fishing, mining, herblore, smithing, etc. All of these are skills you only level for quests and diaries. There is no merit in training them for any other reason.
At the same time, u do realise that the only reason ur able to go to the GE and just buy food is because there's people out there grinding those skills, right? If not for them, everyone would have to fish and cook their own food The problem isn't the skills usefulness. The problem is the economy being so inflated by bots.

I just do not think skilling is in a good place at all. Which is a shame because (imo) PvM is better than ever. We have such a diverse list of interesting bosses.
Ya I love the idea of taking down big baddies for unique rewards but when they drop an hours worth of magic logs or Flax really kills the hype seeing as how I've spent months chopping down magic trees in order to be able to afford the gear to take down these bosses.

Boss dropping hundreds of resources per kill, that would have taken significantly longer time to gather with skills, really devalues gathering skills. Why spend 30 minute gathering and banking ores or logs, when you can get hundreds of it from a 3 minute boss kill.
Not to mention that people are going to just start skipping the skilling grind and buy gold on black market sites to get needed gear for bosses and just do those as the main game play experience.

@@NahBNah The worst part is the boss fight of Sins of the Father required to enter. It's a very safe activity that will only ever deal a couple of HP to you, and you can teleport out if needed. After a short while you can get a ring which negates damage, and then you're completely safe to learn. My recommendation is to pull up a guide, learn how it works, watch someone go through the first floor optimally, and then keep trying the first floor until you've got it down, then the second floor, etc.. I keep the metronome plugin on and in the middle of my RuneLite client to help with timing the ticks on the flame traps, and the player true tile indicated plugin to make it clear where my character is located. You'll pick it up quickly and it's much more engaging agility activity than rooftops.

Heavily impossible to get a bond on ftp now prices on most shit have dropped so much and bond prices have exploded so insanely, genuinely just a waste of time at this point. We from a minor chore to a massive slog through waist deep sewage.
Best thing you can do after getting membership is making ultracompost at ge. Once you make 450k gp daily, start grinding hunter to be able to do bird houses and chimchompas to replace the previous money method. You can start grinding farming to farm toadflax and jute, and make ultracompost on the farming bins, to have another money maker method. You can do blast furnace BUT it have some requirements and it takes too much time to get a coal bag, only start there if just want smelt iron ( that dont require a 17 hour grind to have a coal bag to smelt anything above steel). After these, only then you can start enjoying gilenor. Forget about everything else, the MOST IMPORTANT thing is FIRST secure your daily money maker, exploration cames second. If you want to grind some umprofitable skills, remember that some f2p methods are good exp and you dont need sacrifice membership days (450k daily) in the gring, like: salmon fishing/cooking, woodcuting and droping logs, power mining iron in Al kharid, making wine, smithing platebodies. Train these after your membership runs out and you have money to buy another bond. Dont buy expensive gear, even sell your crappy rune gear to secure buying a bond if necessary. Only when you can buy your second bond you can say you left f2p.
humidify is profitable because magic is a 0 time skill. Real players don’t want to do it because they’ll get magic xp elsewhere during other activities.

The only ones you'll find are ones who target to scam returning or new players. I'd stay away from any newbie friendly services you might come across. The wiki and Google are your best friends.
Playing this game with a 'money making' mindset is so miserable to me tbh. Like even when I was selling barb assault leeches for money, somehow I hated it. And yet I loved logging in to playing the minigame for FREE lol

Playing this game with a 'money making' mindset is so miserable to me tbh. Like even when I was selling barb assault leeches for money, somehow I hated it. And yet I loved logging in to playing the minigame for FREE lol
