Tip for Zulrah beginners: Try learning the boss fight with Magic only. Simply safespot the mage phase behind a pillar. Just worry about learning the rotations at first, and then add ranged after you learn all the rotations. The kills will be slow at first doing mage only, but it's a super easy way to learn the boss!!

Unless you have actually tried the method, or seen people learn this way compared to just forcing it, don't give your input. You get the actual visual experience of killing the boss instead of just seeing it through guides. The only damage you take is from snakelings, or if you misclick on Jad phase/step in venom clouds. It is a very safe, smooth way to memorize the phases instead of brute forcing it and dying consistently early on.
Thank you for making this guide. I got hacked and was pretty sad because the hacker also got my account banned. I decided to try RS3 and ended up enjoying it. After a year, I had a hunch to check my OSRS account and I guess it got unbanned. Recently started playing again. I used to talk shit about RS3 but now, I play and enjoy both games. Aiming for end game content on both. Life's good
@@godslayor150 RS3 looks pretty fun cus at the end of the day it is still the Runescape we played back in the days (to some extend ofc) however I never even thought about playing it, everytime I've logged in on my old account just for nostalgia through the years and getting greeted by gambling is just a huge turn off. A friend of mine only plays RS3 and has had fun doing so for years so it definitely isn't the gameplay I suppose.

Once I finally tried out RS3 and put in maybe like 15-20 hours into it, I thoroughly enjoy it. It's a great game, and a great experience for fans of classic Runescape as well. You have the same kind of gameplay loop, there's just a lot more content. The main reasons I stick with OSRS is because a) it generally has more players and more TH-cam content and b) everytime I hear the redone soundtracks in RS3 I really enjoy them but it makes me nostalgic for the old music and so I wanna switch back. That hasn't gone away for me even after playing for a little while.
I currently play a lot of RS3 and PVM at a high level is a massive chore in this game. This video appeared in my recs and I figured I'd take a look, and honestly this looks like a lot of fun. IDK if its nostalgia but I wanna try some of these lol
You should explore putting a boarder & background or something around the ability requirements. Agility gets camouflaged with the osrs background when you are at sara. Enjoy the videos though. Keep it up!

In all honesty, all bosses become easy once you get passed the learning curve. Phosani is hard to learn, but I’ve been pet hunting it for 800 kc I could do it in my sleep now

My main gripe with some of the bosses is that the requirements to get decent money from such as Mole or Sarachnis, by the time you can earn that you have money makers that make far better money and more consistent money. Take Slayer alone, Gargs, Nechs, and Kurasks, can all be 1m an hour or greater money makers. But to maximize those profits, certain gear is needed. While Mole for example is straight forward with just Dharok, Verac, or even a Dragon Hasta/Spear and Protect melee, as mentioned things like Falador Hard is somewhat a must for reliable kills. And by the time you've done Falador Hard, you shouldn't be doing Mole anymore. And that's what's always bothered me about several bosses. Just by the time you have the stat reqs to do them, most aren't worth doing. Unless you're an Iron Man. I'd say the GWD bosses, Zulrah, the slayer bosses like Cerb, Alchemical, and Thermy are all worth doing, even Cave Kraken. But most just aren't worth the effort it takes to earn solid cash from.
@@kimjong-un5562 It was an example of one boss that's not that profitable when you get down to it. I could cite several others. The point is that a good chunk of bosses require certain stats and gear to be truly profitable and worthwhile and by the time you have both there's better options.

did my first ever bossing a few days ago, did a couple of rounds of barrows, went way better than I thought used magic and ranged to attack and kept myself protected from attacks using prayer with prayer pots, if you aren't sure if you can do it give it a whirl :D it really isn't that bad
As someone with less than 65 str and 600+ mole kc I would say don't wait for Dharoks. It's plenty easy with an xbow and some enchanted bolts, and you don't have to chase her to melee range!
I'm sure some people don't understand how the gp/hr at Nex works. on the osrs wiki money making guide, nex is 10m/hr but that's if you're doing 6 mans at 12 kills/hr. masses are a lot lower gp/hr. there are usually more people ffa massing than the number of kph you get there, making it less than half of the 10m/hr. could get lucky, or extremely unlucky. still worth doing, just don't expect many drops in many kc if you're ffa massing

This might be the video brining me back to Runescape! I have wanted to do bossing for a while, but I was never sure what I should and what I can do. But this gives me a really nice starting guide.
Truly a lot of the bosses that net like 1m an hour, you can make 1m an hour at Gargs, Kurasks, and even Nech's. That's why some bosses simply aren't worth doing short of going for combat achievements or if you're an Iron Man.
Kinda surprised I didn't see (corrupted)gauntlet on the list here. Maybe cause it requires a whole minigame prep phase before doing it, but raids was included so idk.
The dude is a skiller with little pvm experience IMO considering raids is 10/10 in difficulty when it's more like a 5 or 6 lol, he prolly hasent even tried gauntlet/Tob/Nightmare ect.
The only thing I disagree with is the difficulty of Cerberus I have over 5k kc there and still die once or twice a task sometimes vs hydra who I use monkfish for and still don't die. Cerberus has crazy stack potential think he deserves like a 6 or 7 difficulty
the presented difficulty of the bosses is certainly debatable here, though I don't expect flipping old school to be that precise here for the purpose of this video. for hydra I'd say it is relatively easy after the first 50 kills and doesn't need good gear or high stats other than the slayer level. once you get the task it's well worth doing with just 75 ranged for the blowpipe. All damage is prayed against so no high end armor is required and lower dps doesn't make the fight much harder and only reduces the profitability to high instead of very high.
I've never fought any boss yet because I'm scared of dying (I've died once in 18 years) so I'm extremely careful and don't take risks when I can avoid them. The hardest enemies I've killed are quest bosses, like in Desert Treasure and other RFD quests. I hate the idea of enemies where you have to dodge, learn mechanics/attack patterns, and even switch prayers at the right time... I panic easily and can't imagine how I would react if I had less than half of my HP left. I'm combat level 111 and haven't even attempted the fight caves yet because everybody mentions prayer flicking and stuff.
@@suibian4348 If I lost like 40+ of my 88 hitpoints, I would instantly panic and try to run away, forgetting how to teleport or something. I mean, unless I'm fighting something easy and have a nice supply of food. But if I'm being hit hard and/or fast, then it's panic time.
Don't worry mate, they've changed the death mechanics, if you die in a non-instanced area you usually have 20 mins before your gear despawns. In instanced areas you can usually buy your gear back from an NPC for like 100k but please double and triple check this.

GO DO ZALCANO! GAH! I never see anyone recommending zalcano as a boss and it's stupid easy, requires no combat as a skilling boss, and is still like 1M+ per hour even without the big drops added. The hard requirement to unlock it is to complete Song of the Elves quest but that's just as big an ask as completing Dragon slayer 2 but everyone always mentions Vorkath. And also you'll want a team of 3-5 people total for best drops.
At 12:50 you mention that Cerberus has a 93 slayer requirement but it's actually only 91, not criticising as it's an honest mistake but I don't know if you'd consider bringing the requirement down from a 9/10 due to this.
Not sure why kree isn't mentioned. It's by far the most profitable gwd boss with 4 drops that are worth over 10m two of those being 35m+. Also very simple to solo with chins, rigour and a decent range level.
its not simple to solo. you can only chin as long as the minions are alive and under kree and then you gotta face tank krees attacks which can be pretty intense.
Probably because corrupted gauntlet is more end game than these other methods…. And really at the point you can do c gauntlet consistently you could just do raids and make more money
Been grinding vork most times I need money which is fine but I need some variety, might do some sarachnis and mole just to mix it up for still adequate gp/hr. Never doing zulrah, screw that boss with a rake with how unforgivingly brutal it is. It's actually surprising how many bosses here have drastically higher reqs but are only about the same or slightly higher gp/hr.
I hit the Zulrah kc to make deaths cost money and stopped. I'm fairly new in terms of osrs and I didn't find Zulrah to be particularly brutal as long as you use the RL plug-in. That said, I hate Zulrah because I just couldn't get my times down and almost always ended up going in to a second rotation.

I've been trying to learn Zulrah ever since i got minimal requierments for it. Idk what's up with me or the way i play, but every time i try to use those "Easy zulrah guide" tips, i get immidietly melted. Probaby the best i lasted is toward second Jad rotation, when i did a no kill practice run with just food in inventory, but even then i felt like i would die, if i were to fight it. It will be bane of my existance right untill i get enough stats and wealth to compensate for my lack of skill.
It's annoying because you have to do it mid fight or get the kill, but marking tiles helped me tremendously and making sure to use the RL plug-in. It's not really an easy fight to learn. I stopped once I got to the kc where deaths start to cost money and I didn't die too much during that. It'll be slow tho and expect the kill to carry over into a second (different) rotation by the time you start getting better.
#12 guardians requires getting a brittle key from gargs while on task btw This doesn't seem bad but to people with bad rng like me, I didnt get my first garg task till 80 slayer and didnt get the brittle key till 2 garg task later (81 slayer at the time)

You're right you need to be on task to get the key but you can't kill grotesque guardians off task. You need to be on a gargoyle task to kill them. Just looked them up while I looked at the key.

One boss I was dreading on learning was Alchem Hydra. But oddly enough, it became a pretty easy thing to kill. Does suck that you can't get the bones noted, hate the feeling of having to leave so many bones on the ground.
pro tip: arceeus spellbook to convert 3 hydra bones into pray xp + prayer points + thralls + elite lumby ring for alching, if you are not already pray 99

Olm sounds a lot more complicated than it actually is. Best way to learn it is to sit at melee or mage hand, and have someone experienced run the head and make callouts. With a basic understanding of the specials, good callouts make the boss pretty straightforward. Did one raid with a poor caller and planked over and over in olm. Did my second raid with a good caller and did deathless olm with 1 death total in the raid. Don't be afraid of CoX. Just find someone with experience, joining a clan is a great way to do that, and watch a guide to get a base understanding.
Nex is based on pure luck. Im over 6k KC and got the pet and a horn. 😅 Some ppl get lucky and they see a few drops in a low KC. But lots of ppl are going to go extremely dry. If you dont get a drop you're not really making money. It just pays for your supplies
he's doing 31 min trios which is actually less than 2m an hour...and terribly, inconceivably bad. 30 minute raids is like doing solos on an iron that has no hammer/lance yet, with prep lol.

Zulrah is a bit harder than Vorkath imo, because you have to do prayer flick and armor switch sometime, while vork is like afk most of the time

I'm sure some people don't understand how the gp/hr at Nex works. on the osrs wiki money making guide, nex is 10m/hr but that's if you're doing 6 mans at 12 kills/hr. masses are a lot lower gp/hr. there are usually more people ffa massing than the number of kph you get there, making it less than half of the 10m/hr. could get lucky, or extremely unlucky. still worth doing, just don't expect many drops in many kc if you're ffa massing

I have wanted to do bossing for a while, but I was never sure what I should and what I can do. But this gives me a really nice starting guide.
As a high level player Sarachnis is about a mil an hour though if anyone is wondering.
Truly a lot of the bosses that net like 1m an hour, you can make 1m an hour at Gargs, Kurasks, and even Nech's. That's why some bosses simply aren't worth doing short of going for combat achievements or if you're an Iron Man.

Kinda surprised I didn't see (corrupted)gauntlet on the list here. Maybe cause it requires a whole minigame prep phase before doing it, but raids was included so idk.
The dude is a skiller with little pvm experience IMO considering raids is 10/10 in difficulty when it's more like a 5 or 6 lol, he prolly hasent even tried gauntlet/Tob/Nightmare ect.
I've never done raids. I'm sure for a 1337 gamer like you it's easy, but I guarantee it's a 10/10 for me

The only thing I disagree with is the difficulty of Cerberus I have over 5k kc there and still die once or twice a task sometimes vs hydra who I use monkfish for and still don't die. Cerberus has crazy stack potential think he deserves like a 6 or 7 difficulty
the presented difficulty of the bosses is certainly debatable here, though I don't expect flipping old school to be that precise here for the purpose of this video.
for hydra I'd say it is relatively easy after the first 50 kills and doesn't need good gear or high stats other than the slayer level. once you get the task it's well worth doing with just 75 ranged for the blowpipe. All damage is prayed against so no high end armor is required and lower dps doesn't make the fight much harder and only reduces the profitability to high instead of very high.
You only die if you're not paying attention. Pay more attention to the attack patterns of Cerb vs. what his health is at vs. how much time has passed.
I've never fought any boss yet because I'm scared of dying (I've died once in 18 years) so I'm extremely careful and don't take risks when I can avoid them. The hardest enemies I've killed are quest bosses, like in Desert Treasure and other RFD quests. I hate the idea of enemies where you have to dodge, learn mechanics/attack patterns, and even switch prayers at the right time... I panic easily and can't imagine how I would react if I had less than half of my HP left. I'm combat level 111 and haven't even attempted the fight caves yet because everybody mentions prayer flicking and stuff.

@@suibian4348 If I lost like 40+ of my 88 hitpoints, I would instantly panic and try to run away, forgetting how to teleport or something. I mean, unless I'm fighting something easy and have a nice supply of food. But if I'm being hit hard and/or fast, then it's panic time.
Don't worry mate, they've changed the death mechanics, if you die in a non-instanced area you usually have 20 mins before your gear despawns. In instanced areas you can usually buy your gear back from an NPC for like 100k but please double and triple check this.

GO DO ZALCANO! GAH! I never see anyone recommending zalcano as a boss and it's stupid easy, requires no combat as a skilling boss, and is still like 1M+ per hour even without the big drops added. The hard requirement to unlock it is to complete Song of the Elves quest but that's just as big an ask as completing Dragon slayer 2 but everyone always mentions Vorkath. And also you'll want a team of 3-5 people total for best drops.

Hydra is a money boss I know its not entry level boss because you need to learn it and need to have a high slayer level but its pretty good.

At 12:50 you mention that Cerberus has a 93 slayer requirement but it's actually only 91, not criticising as it's an honest mistake but I don't know if you'd consider bringing the requirement down from a 9/10 due to this.
Not sure why kree isn't mentioned. It's by far the most profitable gwd boss with 4 drops that are worth over 10m two of those being 35m+. Also very simple to solo with chins, rigour and a decent range level.

its not simple to solo. you can only chin as long as the minions are alive and under kree and then you gotta face tank krees attacks which can be pretty intense.
A component I feel is missing is the gear reqs.... while some req close to ur earning per hour... others req 100s of money making hours to attain.

Probably because corrupted gauntlet is more end game than these other methods…. And really at the point you can do c gauntlet consistently you could just do raids and make more money
Been grinding vork most times I need money which is fine but I need some variety, might do some sarachnis and mole just to mix it up for still adequate gp/hr. Never doing zulrah, screw that boss with a rake with how unforgivingly brutal it is. It's actually surprising how many bosses here have drastically higher reqs but are only about the same or slightly higher gp/hr.
I hit the Zulrah kc to make deaths cost money and stopped. I'm fairly new in terms of osrs and I didn't find Zulrah to be particularly brutal as long as you use the RL plug-in.
That said, I hate Zulrah because I just couldn't get my times down and almost always ended up going in to a second rotation.
Status update: Sarachnis is a lie, the average drops manage to be so bad that you lose money on food/prayer potions.
Cerberus is unlocked at 91 slayer. You said 93. 93 slayer unlocks thermy.

I've been trying to learn Zulrah ever since i got minimal requierments for it. Idk what's up with me or the way i play, but every time i try to use those "Easy zulrah guide" tips, i get immidietly melted. Probaby the best i lasted is toward second Jad rotation, when i did a no kill practice run with just food in inventory, but even then i felt like i would die, if i were to fight it.
It will be bane of my existance right untill i get enough stats and wealth to compensate for my lack of skill.
Start with mage only, don't bother trying to brid it until you're comfortable with where to stand
It's annoying because you have to do it mid fight or get the kill, but marking tiles helped me tremendously and making sure to use the RL plug-in.
It's not really an easy fight to learn. I stopped once I got to the kc where deaths start to cost money and I didn't die too much during that. It'll be slow tho and expect the kill to carry over into a second (different) rotation by the time you start getting better.
#12 guardians requires getting a brittle key from gargs while on task btw This doesn't seem bad but to people with bad rng like me, I didnt get my first garg task till 80 slayer and didnt get the brittle key till 2 garg task later (81 slayer at the time)
You can go off task and get the key to unlock the boss room. You just need a task to kill the bosses.

You're right you need to be on task to get the key but you can't kill grotesque guardians off task. You need to be on a gargoyle task to kill them. Just looked them up while I looked at the key.

Man I so want to bond up. I kill all these bosses. But my middle school instincts always put me in the wilderness, where I lose all my gear slowly. Lol. I sure have a lot of fun. Typically come back every 6 months to a year or so. But I enjoy the TH-cam community.
One boss I was dreading on learning was Alchem Hydra. But oddly enough, it became a pretty easy thing to kill. Does suck that you can't get the bones noted, hate the feeling of having to leave so many bones on the ground.

Olm sounds a lot more complicated than it actually is. Best way to learn it is to sit at melee or mage hand, and have someone experienced run the head and make callouts. With a basic understanding of the specials, good callouts make the boss pretty straightforward. Did one raid with a poor caller and planked over and over in olm. Did my second raid with a good caller and did deathless olm with 1 death total in the raid. Don't be afraid of CoX. Just find someone with experience, joining a clan is a great way to do that, and watch a guide to get a base understanding.

Nex is based on pure luck. Im over 6k KC and got the pet and a horn. 😅 Some ppl get lucky and they see a few drops in a low KC. But lots of ppl are going to go extremely dry. If you dont get a drop you're not really making money. It just pays for your supplies

u are cooked saying cox is 2m/h. if u learn solos u can long term easily get 5-6m an hour
he's doing 31 min trios which is actually less than 2m an hour...and terribly, inconceivably bad. 30 minute raids is like doing solos on an iron that has no hammer/lance yet, with prep lol.

No it doesnt, it needs your own actions to skip to the next stage. It doesnt take info from the game. I just looked it up since im trying to learn zulrah :)
@@jeffreybouma3204 all you need to do is click what phase it is like 2 times then just look over... Much easier than just guessing until you learn. If you can't do zulrah with that plug-in then that's just sad. Just saying, you'll get the hang of it and you'll realize it's not hard
