I have spent years looking for exactly your way of painting seascapes. Your style of painting and instructing is straightforward and you don’t spend half the video mixing colour! Many thanks for all you do!
Utterly stunning...your pallettes look better than some of my paintings! I love how your technique and use of colour is perfectly suited to the ancient mystery of the outback.
G'day Richard, Ian Harris here from Perth Western Australia, I stumbled across your channel some time back as it was showing in my feed, I have a channel directed to the beginners in acrylic, Now I just have to say seeing what you do with your art and camp travel adventuring is just living the dream, I like to take my hat off to ya for showing advanced artist just what they can do, I'm looking forward to seeing your channel hit the 100K subscriber threshold so you can have your well deserved silver play button hanging in the background. Cheer's mate Ian AKA Ianapolis.
Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee as you nail the key focal points within the overall tonality of rock and water Richard. Once again the dance of the knife creates reality from chaos. Knockout painting mate. My favourite among favourites. Cheers, Rich
Oh yea! Definitely, a TWO for ONE deal here. MMMM That would be "Two Paintings for the price of one." Following your path. Accepting your path. But. Yea. If I were there with my checkbook. ~NOT~. Anyway. Definitely. Two paintings here. Whew! Beautiful. Thank you Richard.
This video came up on my feeding Page.... *Thank you* . I have been hesitating on a New illustration I have been working on (for a while). _Because of you_ And *your vibrant energise* .... I have finally started to finish off my own new image. Sweet blessings Mr p decker.
Such a great piece and as always a great video. You freely share so much, thank you Richard. You were and continue to be a go to source for us painters. So glad I own one of your pieces. Bravo!
Hello ‘Richard of the Flinders’ Thanks for openly sharing your personal techniques and displaying a genuine love for the ancient bush. Very inspiring old chap!
Hello Richard, I indeed imagine finding this cool oasis in the arid outback must feel incredibly lucky and surreal. In any case, you made the place real with your palette knife and I am amazed by your pebbles in the greenish water, the shadow that crosses the pond and makes the water blue again, this imposing rock on the right and more generally, the composition of the scene. Bravo for this beautiful painting.
Hi Richard. So many great tips in this video, I am actually taking notes, thank you! I am truly amazed of how much beauty you create with a limited palette. That painting would be a treasure on any wall!
Hi Richard …… been watching a lot of your programs, enjoying your beautiful paintings. Do you ever do a painting that’s like part pallet knife and part brush? I like the pallet knife effect but it probably uses a lot more paint. I will probably try it on smaller painting. I really enjoy painting but i’am not in the same league as you…. Ha ha Take care and keep up the good work Larry
Hello Richard you have surpassed yourself, this painting is absolutely terrific, we were really happy about your video Many greetings from Andrea and Günter
Hello Richard!! Your painting is fantastic, I have imagined myself sitting for a moment in front of your painting and I see myself inside the landscape. Congratulations!! You always outdo yourself!! Greeting from Spain!!!
👋Hi Richard, this painting is absolutely gorgeous again! You have painted at a waterhole before and the artwork that came out was equally stunning. I admire the colors, the rocks, the water and those unique eucalyptus trees, a symphony has been composed and successfully premiered. Three cheers to you, thank you, and have a nice week.👍💖
Loving your values there! That’s one of my favorite knives. The other one is 1/4”x 2 1/2”. I have many, but those two do the most for versatile marks on a big canvas.
Recently discovered you and so blown away by your brilliance!! It’s a feast to the eyes. You are probably asked this all the time but I couldn’t find an answer… how long do they take to dry before you can glaze or at least sell?
Absolute smasher of a painting and video: loved the thoughts with regards to composition/ mark making. Living in the Netherlands (with less expressive landscapes), I'm curious if this technique will work on 'our landscapes' also...
@@richardmusgrave-evans "Chunky painting" the textured look for your pieces make the scene much more dimensional. The appearance or illusion is extraordinary. ❤
