Feeling 80% today, getting slowly back to it after a mini-stroke or TIA 3 weeks ago. My son, our employed man and a neighbour who volunteered to help after I was hospitalised, got harvest finished last Friday. Where in the world? An hour North of Regina in Saskatchewan, Canada.
Hi Michael. Looking in from St Cloud in Central Florida. When I moved to this town 28 years ago it was a cowboy town. Lots of ranchers, cattle farms, milk and beef. All the youngsters including my daughter were part of a riding school or owned their own horses. Lots of gym-kanas, barrel racing and rodeos. Every weekend lots of ranchers would get breakfast at a local restaurant with their pick up trucks and trailers with their horses and cattle on route somewhere. It was brilliant, it was like market day in Abergavenny S. Wales where I went often with my grandfather, selling or buying sheep and horses. Unfortunately due to uncontrolled construction, and crazy land prices it’s just a shadow of itself now and such a shame. Most of the kids move away and no longer follow in their parents or grandparents foot steps. I have hired ex military here, very respectful but you had to hold their hands. They just were not used to making any decisions. Just got through hurricane MILTON, no damage so feeling 95%. Possibly another hurricane heading our way this time next week. So much for living in paradise 😂. 👍🏴🇺🇸
Adelaide, South Australia 🇦🇺 Feeling 99% Functionally 5-10% if that (Such is life) How are you going Michael? Tractors and trailers seem like toys to most of us watching TH-cam but business is no game. 🚜
Great video Michael, wishing you good luck with the ex-forces recruitment such a noble cause. I hope you find someone who can help. 85% today it might have been higher if you had said you bought your boots to go line dancing.🤔 🤣.
Hats of to you Michael for wanting to help our ex service men and women try the local homeless charities they may know people who want to work and need accomodation, on the truck delivering the container the right operator on good equipment will always make the job look easy
My father once told me when employing workers never employ ex forces (this was back in the 60’s) or anyone who smoked a pipe 😂. He reckoned those coming out the forces back then couldn’t be told how to do anything because they knew it all and the pipe smokers spent more time nursing their pipes than working. I applaud you Michael for thinking about our veterans and think more employers should give them priority to work. 👏👏👏👏👏
Sherburn North Yorkshire struggling today with back pain relating to the bowel cancer still waiting for full diognosis and treatment which is gettin frustrating
Referring to theses of professional the had no health and safety equipment on.ie hard hat and no reflective tapes on his clothing so I wouldn’t it as professional.
As he was operating the crane with a remote and working alone he wouldn't need reflective clothing or a hard hat from a safety point of view alone, ticking rule boxes maybe so.
@@pauldunwell1318 OK but why the hard hat? In case he's attacked by a passer by or maybe to protect him if the container he is in control of drops on his head?
@@adrianchetwynd1334 the requirements for health and safety are to protect the worker while they carry out their duties and if you or anyone was injured while at then you would be able to make a claim but if they haven’t the correct pipe on at this time then, good luck because the insurance company will you wasn’t wearing any pipe so no claim so it’s there to protect you and your family if you seriously or killed at work, so before you reply to this check with a health and safety company I could put you in contact with one if you don’t know any.
