I have family that live in Chester, I lived and worked there for just over two years. Christmas time in the city centre is absolute chaos, I would go in and get what i needed then go home, it was too stressful. My wife loves the place, but with us being from a small part of Pembrokeshire its very exciting when you first visit but like I said, me having lived there and got to know the place I find it boring now with the same shops and loads of jewellery shops too.
