When I finally realized that everything I learned about this realm was a lie I started reprogramming my subconscious and finally after suffering with addiction disorder to heroin & opiates for 45 years by changing my mind about who I thought I was. I've been in recovery for over 5 years now & finally feel like I can live a great simple spiritual life in balance with the universe. So grateful for the awareness that I had the power to heal my childhood trauma as well as relationship abuse that I didn't deserve but stayed way too long. Thanks for making this video. It's entirely true about connection. I felt disconnected but now I know I have always been & will always be part of the whole! So grateful for awareness & healing! 😊❤️🔥🧘🏻♀️🙏🌏✌️♾️
Our society rewards bullies. Old women are pushed aside, especially if they live alone, without Family. They are ridiculed, ghosted, look down on. Living in fear. I have been a people pleaser all my life to: my own detriment. Trying to be good enough, but never achieved it.
### Summary of the Video "The Mask We Wear: Society's Influence on Our True Self" - **Societal Expectations and Alienation**: The video begins by discussing how society promotes a false self, rewarding individuals for conforming to unrealistic standards and expectations. This societal pressure leads to a deep disconnect between our true selves and the personas we present to the world. - **Mental and Emotional Impact**: The relentless pressure to conform and seek approval from others not only creates a false narrative about our worth but also contributes to mental and emotional distress. The video emphasizes that this cycle of comparison and validation is harmful, leading to feelings of inadequacy and alienation. - **Breaking Free from Societal Constraints**: The video explores the possibility of breaking free from these societal constraints by embracing our true selves. It suggests that by doing so, we can achieve genuine fulfillment and well-being, moving away from a life dictated by external standards. - **Personal Journey and Self-Discovery**: The video delves into personal stories, including one about a woman named Andrea who struggled with addiction and unresolved trauma. Her journey through using ayahuasca, a plant medicine, in a retreat in the Amazon, provided her with profound insights into her past traumas and how they influenced her behavior. This experience helped her reconnect with her true self and find a new sense of purpose and clarity in life. - **Recovery and Finding the True Self**: A significant theme in the video is the concept of recovery, particularly in the context of addiction. Recovery is described as the process of finding something lost, specifically one's true self. The video emphasizes that this self was never destroyed but merely buried under societal pressures and traumas. - **Embracing Authenticity**: The video concludes with a message of embracing one's true self, shedding the false masks imposed by society, and living a life of authenticity. It highlights the importance of self-care, ongoing support, and resilience in this journey of self-discovery and personal growth. This video from "Inside Serene" underscores the transformative power of recognizing and breaking free from societal norms to reclaim and live in alignment with one's true identity.
I've received much insight from Gabor, however I have this continual feeling of discontent from him... As I really listen to him and observe hime being interviewed by different people - I sense a type of emotional dis honesty coming from him... Most of what he says and pro ports is anecdotal , and he has an ego investment in re enforcing his claims...

We are all stronger & also more fragile than we realise.
trauma is distress with no resolve that leads to disconnection to oneself in an attempt to disconnect from the unresolved distress
