HOW TO GROW CHAYOTE (SAYOTE) FROM FRUIT | HOW TO GERMINATE CHAYOTE

This was my first attempted to plant chayote, sayote here in Bosnia and Herzegovina. We have four seasons here in our place so I have to start my plant indoor and transplant them outside to the garden later when the weather is good for them to survive. In the Philippines most of our sayote are grown in the mountainous region where it has colder climate. Upon research they say it can also thrive in a milder climate or even hot weather is good for them. So I tried my luck in growing this vegetable by planting the whole fruit, the seed only and the seed with a little meat of the fruit. And all of them sprouted.
