this really looks like a game worthy of the game awards, unique art, and gameplay. all you need is a great soundtrack and your game awards ready. this is an instant buy for me.
Omg, that beard is so thicc. The game is also looks like it'll be really fun to play. Your progress really motivate dudes like me. Wish you clean code and big profit
Loving the idea of both the game and it's execution. I started a project with Godot about a month ago and I find it crazy how much more productive I can be than with other engines/frameworks I've used. Anyway, keep it up. I think this''ll turn out really great, the action/puzzle-like cross-over is cool.
you are quite literally everything I want to be right now. Thank you for the countless inspiration and quality videos to help me get closer to my dream!
This game has such a fun concept. You could create levels where there are passage ways that only the guns can fit down, and the player and enemies cannot. Maybe like air vents in the walls or something?
With the level with 6 enamies patrolling in a hallway. I think you could make it so you can control all guns and make them shoot at one place at the same time.
I'm making a game that is ALL about positioning based movement, to move between cover, to move in and out of enemy ranges like in DkS1 etc., to keep a certain enemy at a kited distance where it's melee doesn't reach or it's projectiles can be avoided, and juggling these things, as well as prioritizing targets etc. Enemies will be designed to offer varying challenges based on the context they're in, so something tells me I'm gonna put HUNDREDS of hours just into the random technique, to find out how all the moving pieces interact outside of my original intention. Jonathan Blow was one of the people to really open my mind to this kind of approach, it's almost like playing a game in it's own right.
I feel like it might be more obvious if I was actually playing, but just watching I sometimes have a hard time telling who is dead out of a group of enemies. Maybe if they faded to a darker or bluer shade when they died?
The basic idea of controlling something remotely is good, but the way do did it doesn't feel right for me. I think it would work better if the player would control traps, doors (smash people), turrets, robots, throwing chairs, boxes, let fire extinguisher explode, smash windows and utilize the broken glass pieces. Maybe let the player combine elements to start fun chain reactions.

Thanks for the "random" and "Romero" techniques. I really suck at levels design it could be useful to try them.
The weapon design is really interesting here. I don't think I've ever seen someone do a sniper rifle with a downside, let alone one quite like this.

You have such a good style for games and stuff. I dont like your game where the lady eats people, but everything else is like food for my soul.
Hahaha thanks

Dude, so much progress, I'm loving how the game is turning out!! Also, the video quality low key turning up
you can maybe add an option to change or brighten the shadows

Really great series. Thanks!
That beards a good fit bro
I had this idea, the chess game could be set during the Vietnam war, or WW 2 . .
I feel like it might be more obvious if I was actually playing, but just watching I sometimes have a hard time telling who is dead out of a group of enemies. Maybe if they faded to a darker or bluer shade when they died?
Omg, what's the soundtrack in the beginning? That's so gorgeous

That would be super cool, but its kind of out of scope of the original month long dev time. I could probably add that stuff now though
Jeez your growing fast
its a lot like hotline miami!
Can you do a tutorial on how to make a restart function for a 3D platformer?
get_tree().reload_current_scene()
I love level design, but i don't know shit about code. I mostly like making levels in map editors.

Great stuff. What does the title of the game mean?
On the steam page it says that u need 8 gb ram to play it. Is that true?
I'm not sure, that's just how much ram my laptop has. I'll check with ny patreon playtesters and see how much ram they have
