This movie has one of the most beautiful cinematographies I’ve ever seen. Thanks Chivo and Alejandro Iñarritu for existing
Ryuichi Sakamoto 0ST
the secret life of walter mitty also good movie
Absolute craziness! @@lutfanhaidi460
Just reminding you that every landscape you see is 100% real
Can we keep it like so-- please save the Earth! Human-made climate change is real!
@@HelloHello-tm7uc You are an Ignorant... you say that "they" should safe the world for us? Who is this who? A new strong "Klimate-Führer" or what? The only one who could save us from destroying us are you itselfe. Do something instead of calling someone lese to do something... don't let politics do that for you, when you ask for someone who should "save" you, then we are lost. This strong Klimate-Führer will come for sure...: Fuck your personal rights, we are saving the world. ;-)
Bjørn Kusenowski L for whatever nonsense you are spewing
Beautiful, majestic Canadian wilderness.

hands down one of the most beautiful movie ever made

Revenant is a masterpiece. A rare accomplishment, especially in the wasteland of 21st century Hollywood. Thanks for posting .
Lol no its a good movie no were near great, it had so many abrupt cuts
21st century Hollywood had plenty of great films if you’re unbiased.

This and Interstellar are two movies I sorely regret not being able to see in theatres
I saw it twice hehe, lucky me
so true
I watch this movie at least once a year. Whenever I feel stressed or down, there's something about this film that feels cathartic.
This movie is GORGEOUS. And Sakamoto's music goes with it like a match made in literal heaven.
Tom Hardy as Fitzgerald is a fantastic antagonist. He makes me so angry and afraid at the same time
Afraid? any guy with balls would take this coward down.
A great actor for a great character!
@@royal_vita5329 any guy, two went into the ditch and were brave.
Да игра Тома на высшем уровне. Хорошо, что шон пен отказался и лни пригласили на эту роль Тома. Не зря. Обожаю Тома❤❤❤
I wish i was able to watch this movie in theaters. Magnificent work of art by Chivo Lubezki.
2:34 that soundtrack......
Magnificent
“I am the captain of my fate, the master of my soul.”
Ryuchi Sakamoto is such a great composer. His work on Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence makes a great part of the movie.
Very simple but sounds amazing and sad at the same time
Do you know what’s the name of the soundtrack?
The beauty of the revenant: *all the film*
Beautiful cinematography, beautiful soundtrack. The blue hour shots in this movie were phenomenal.
What do you mean by blue hour?
@@uome20bukz The time of day (after the sun has set but before it gets fully dark out)
When i saw it in theater i was so in it, i never felt like living a movie with my whole heart before
When i saw it in the theatre i was blown away it was just a regular audience and at the end there was applause. Ive never experienced that before
Immersive.
I also feel this way about A Hidden Life
The real-life brutal outdoor nature, Leo and Tom as the leads, Alejando's direction, Chivo's cinematography and the score.
this film is an overwhelming, beautiful and wild experience. One of my favorites of all time.
same. beautiful film
Without a doubt the most satisfying movie to look at. The cinematography and music is absolutely gorgeous.
Thank's everyone for all your support!
This is just the beginning
This is so beautiful, remind me of Red Dead Redemption 2
What a game...
The bear attack is a shot for shot copy
Arthur💔
The sky is absolutely beautiful in RDR2.
@@noamias4897 or maybe thats just how a bear attacks in real life
Leo’s best performance!
I’d say this was Tom Hardy’s best too!
I personally enjoyed him more in Django but this was great too !
Honnestly no I don't think so, Leo was good but he was way better in other movies like basically all the movies with Scorsese or Django
One of my favourite movies of all time
you know all these shots are real and the movie is real that just amazing to me
Every shot looks & feels like a painting.
These compositions and sceneries are absolutely exquisite. And the idea behind them as well. The human drama is fleeting and the world keeps on existing beyond our petty squabbles. Existence continues with or without our consent.
The movie was a Masterpiece, great performance by Leo and such a nice scenery, loved the landscape and the music is perfect.
You deserve a lot mate
Thank you !
One of the best movies ever made !
The Revenant is an incredible case of 21st century Hollywood taking a big risk. It’s not a traditional film by any means and hardly mainstream in its pacing and tone. However, if you can click with it, it’s a masterpiece. I’ve come to love it more and more on each viewing, particularly Ryuichi Sakamoto’s mesmerizing music. It’s subtle, but effectively draws you into the 19th century frontiers life alongside Lubezki’s hyper realistic and stunning cinematography. A mammoth of a film in many aspects and I can only commend Iñárritu for being able to successfully bring this vision to the screen.
Cinematography acting Directing. These 3 things were absolutely brilliant in this film. Especially if I talk about Acting by Both Leo and Hardy
Watching this in theaters really pumped up the cold atmosphere.
The Beauty of the Cinematography alongside The Horror of the Story.
I'd like to see Birdman or the Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance, and Whiplash.
the background score best matches the movie, scenes.. incredible work.
chivo is the master of natural lighting cinematography
The Revenant is such a masterpiece. Best movie ever made. Also i love the edit, amazing job :)
It's raw, brutal, beautiful, cold, harsh, and callous! And not even those six words do it justice. Masterpiece should be a seldom used word when it comes to films. But I think this one earned it's stripes!
This wasn't a film, it was an experience, and that's why it's my favorite movie. Not to mention the unbelievably amazing score...
Tout est magnifique dans ce film, il n’y a pas un plan à couper, la musique est prenante et Di Caprio au top !!
I'm damn sure, this movie is hope for those who want a lift in their life
This is the best one I've seen so far, goosebumps thank you!
Thank you!!
Should be considered a timeless masterpiece. This entire film is truly a cinematic achievement.
I seen a lot of movies and I live pretty far north in Canada and during the winter it averages about -40. The Revenant is the only movie that accurately depicts the cold. The silent echoes is what truly captures it.
UNAS DE LAS MEJORES PELICULAS QUE HE VISTO, IMPECABLE DESDE TODO PUNTO DE VISTE Y NI QUE HABLAR DEL FOTOGRAFICO! SUBLIME!.
How grateful he was to the horse that warmed him...Best clip I've ever seen of this movie!! Thank you for this! 🥺😍❤️
I watch this whenever I'm feeling sad :(
Any ideas on the next one ?
Here are some that I would like to see : Driver, The Shawshank Redemption, The Martian, The Ballad Of Bester Scrubbs (Netflix), The Hateful Eight, Public Enemies, 2001, Oblivion..
Didn't see the last coen's brother's films...
2001 is planned and the hateful eight is possible too

The Beauty Of the martian would be Great aswell
The Martian has been added to my list 😌
True grit also
Every frame looks like a Hudson River School painting from the 19th Century.
holy shit! i just cant get over with this breathtaking wildland
It seems like everything is recorded with natural light ♥
Funny that in this year of 2015 Tom Hardy made two films that show the extreme of two different climates. The extreme heat in Mad Max, in fact the extreme everything there and The Revenant where it is the extreme cold, both Tom shares his presence with someone, but in both I do not do without his presence and it is impressive that he is in these two masterpieces, two Oscar winners.
Such a meaningful beautiful film. The music makes it so emotional and powerful
Beautiful cinematography
The only film I've ever seen five times at the cinema. Exceptional film making.
Wide lenses make everything seem more real, more grand, more beautiful
When you hate a character in a movie that’s mean one thing he nailed it such a great actor Tom hardy and of course Leo
The revenant is a masterpiece ❤

I can totally see how this film won best cinematography! At first, I thought Sicario should have won but now...
This has got to be my favorite movie
Excellent movie
I just finally got over my anxiety of the bear scene and watched this from title to title. Just hearing this score fills me up with tears. Not many films do that to me. Wow! What a statement.
Terrence Malick films may be a good place to look. The New World and Thin Red Line
I'm not sure, I think the whole movie can be a video... That's really difficult
@@TheBeautyOf oh yeah I meant as separate videos!
Yes of course!
I am glad I experienced it in a theatre

Do the beauty of the village. Beautiful movie.
I'd like to see the Last Jedi or some of Bong Joon-ho’s movies :)

I wish there were more movies about the 18th and 19th century American frontier done with this kind of ambition.
Love this channel been using is as a demo for my new monitor. Great quality.
complimenti per il bellissimo video. adoro questo film, amo anche la sua colonna sonora capace di descrivere e sottolineare perfettamente immagini, situazioni e dialoghi.
4:00 when he starts looking into your soul.... oh man! i can't look into his eyes...
As this movie shows the duality of nature, beautiful and even breathtaking, however, it's also stunningly brutal and indifferent. Perhaps that's why it's so beautiful. It's purity. It's a place where at one time only the strong got to exist and the weak perished into oblivion to cleanse life of its genetic faults. Life was too busy trying to stay alive. Then humans evolved, capable of pondering issues beyond our comprehension and creating a vast array of mental illnesses...
My philosophy as always been; we shouldn't be here. We're a genetic fuck up that happened to give us a forebrain to create weapons and survive in tribes. As a mammal we're also capable of procreating rather quickly and exponentially. We outwitted nature to our own detriment and now, as a species, we're suffering horrifically for it. Our own worse enemy is ourselves.
You can almost smell the cold air and hear the wind blowing in your ears
One of those films which leave a deep impression on your mind and in your heart long after you've left the theatre.
The images take a lot to die down, and that's a credit to the cinematography.
Beautifully shot with haunting music and leading performance of a lifetime by Di Caprio.
That shot at 2:45 is out of this world.
this score is incredible
This is a great vid. I love this film so much, everything about it is great...
Just judging by your channel name, I know I have to subscribe and watch every video. My entire life, I’ve been in pursuit of beauty.

Gonzales Iñarritu Best movie
I literally didn't get angry on Fitzgerald as whatever he was doing was just for his survival but yeah he should have not taken part for staying behind with glass and his son and Jim but later he realises that eventually he is gonna die so why not kill him now and get moving
The revenant quel film image ,son époustouflant 😮😮😮🙏🙏🙏👌👌
