The choreography and action angles are fascinating.
So we see the choreography, we see the action sequences and we are blown away because how amazing those are... but we rarely think about how many takes and trys to get there. How many hours, days, weeks of rehersal. With or without cameras, they "performed" this movie at least 5 times amount of its runtime.

It's amazing how I've seen millions of action films and yet somehow John Wick manages to keep taking things to a new level. Keanu really deserves a huge praise for working so hard continuously

It's cause of the premise and world building of John Wick. 95% of action movies just has the main character steamrolling the bad guys. The only challenge these characters experience is the main bad guy, and his primary henchman. All of his other underlings are weak. In JW, our main character lives in a world RIFE with assassins. There isn't a main bad guy to fight, and even regular henchmen are able to give JW a good fight. The bad guys aren't a bunch of inexperienced wimps - they're hardened killers, and it shows in how they fight. It's what makes JW special. Regular henchmen aren't pushovers like in other movies.

Only when i saw the movie for the second time, that i gave value and started to like Cain, what a role he played, just perfect in every way.
Keanu held it pretty well for his age ❤️ I think is nice to watched someone older being the main characters vs always have to be someone very young all the time . Is like no1 cares looking at someone young anymore and keep up with them vs someone they grew up watching
I think it is an extraordinary feeling to be part of such a world, to get to act, be someone else for a while, have all the adrenaline from fighting but in a safe way, do all those stunts and more. What a life!
Donnie Yen/Caine was definitely my favorite character! Badass to the max! 😁
The moment I heard Donnie Yen was gonna be in the 4th JW movie I knew I had to see it and honestly the fight scenes with him blew me away

@@Sengial U misunderstand what acting means. The problem is his actual "versatility and range" as an actor and not his drama skills. Because if you give him a character that fits him, he can definitely portray the drama needed and pull it off. JW4 takes action and violence to a whole new level. The fight scene at Arc de Triomphe in Paris is spectacular. JW has to fight all these guys and has to avoid getting hit by cars passing by at high speed.
Always like watching b-rolls even after watching the real deal, as they facilitate the viewers' understanding from the production perspective......
The nunchaku is one of my favorite weapons and seeing Keanu using that weapon put the biggest smile on my face watching the 4th John Wick movie

When I arrived in NYC to photograph John Wick 3 movie premiere, I locked up my bicycle and could see a guy exiting a limo. He held open the door as I walked into the premiere. That guy was Chad Stahelski, the Director. He was so cool and it was incredible to have the director hold the door for me. I love these Wick films. I hope to meet Keanu some day. We both love motorcycles.
