you can tell that a miracle happened here, where the writer finds an actor who's so enthusiastic about the ideas and making the film look good, and the writer is likewise excited about having an actor who puts such effort into embodying the role. The amount of creative positivity these 2 men have together is beautiful.
Keanu Reeves has said that he doesn't mind making as many John Wick films as fans want, and the makers of the movie have stated that they are surprised at how consistently eager JOHN WICK's fanbase has remained across 4 sequels.
Yes, these movies might be what film snobs consider "mindless action" but they have enough uniqueness and well-madeness. I just saw the 4th one and it's just as good as all the others. It's common for action and horror blockbusters to trail off in quality, but these films deliver.
i have also noticed that with each new John Wick film that came out it’s even better than the previous. i absolutely love that about the writing and overall approach to the franchise.
I'm crossing my fingers over for chapter 5. It's not fail to have 10 fast and furious and less John Wick's...

He’s not hyper. Maybe excited. He’s someone who tries very hard to be present. Most of us 90 plus percent of our day we are on auto pilot or wrapped up in our minds thoughts.
I wouldn’t say he’s Hyper when you are an Actor you have to make yourself contradicting to the audience not like you’re reading off a script but the material has to be entertaining so that the audience watching is intrigued and engaged if that makes sense

6:48 to 7:05 Keanu just being a sincere nerdy goof, and Chad just carries on as normal. You can tell this happens a lot with the two of them how Chad doesn't even miss a beat, and waves it off. Love the energy these two have, you can tell they're good friends and appreciate each other for who they are.

Chad REALLY seemed to like that 'Armies don't exist and this has always just been a world of assassins for battles' idea... Also keanu dancing around him with the multiverse bit was soo wholesome
I think he wanted to point out the merit of the idea while subtly acknowledging that the idea is definitely not a part of the John Wick universe. The movies just don't mention militaries or international conflict because it's irrelevant. It should be assumed the world is like ours in that aspect. It is interesting, but off topic for this story. It would be a different story.

@@tannhauserr It's not confirmed. That tattoo _can_ be a marines tattoo but that doesn't mean it guaranteed is. Unless the movie or creators outright tell us all we can do is speculate that it might indicate Wick has a history with the marines. His actual confirmed backstory right now makes no mention of it in any way.

Only issue I had with the stair scene was the rolling back down over the landings without slowing down...like there's no way someone would fall that far down without getting themselves stopped.

Bro the theory that his wife’s family sits at the table is insane. And their reaction almost says that chapter 5 will explore that. I think that person hit the nail directly on the head. She’s been very under looked this whole franchise and chapter 5 being about her family and his connection to the table would be absolutely fantastic.

Was blown away in chapter 1. didn't think they could top chapter 2. KNEW there was no way they could top chapter 3 and I have to say I was happily proven wrong every single time. Chapter 4 was one of the most amazing things I have ever seen. The people who did the chorography and stunts are second to none!

@Advait7 noooo it isn't anything more than what it would be if someone snapped a rubber band on you. Enough to feel it but it quickly goes away. I play in t-shirts anymore to stay cool in the day. I used to be super bundled up as a kid but you're hit once you're out and as I've grown up it like I said it's nothing more than a rubber band snap now. Super fun game, literally having no limit by age, gender, or even athleticism. Everyone has the exact same playing field as everyone will have a marker and paintballs, it's all who sees and marks who first. Minus that it's also one of the least injury prone sports as done by an institute, less so than your major sports like soccer, football, baseball, etc. Would always recommend a time out to play at least once. That's all it took for me when I was 11 or so haha

The last two minutes really show how much of a good team they are.
Writers come up with stuff, Keanu pitches in with his acting and probably improv, and then they let the material grow, evolve, they try things, replace the good with the better and so on.
I feel like those writing sessions are mentally draining, but in a good, fulfilling way. They create a place where they can channel all of their creativity, goofiness (Keanu has lots as per evidence shown here) and excitement. No wonder the movies are good: extreme creativity delivered with as much precision and clarity as possible. They take us into their wild inner world, basically.
