Kudos on the detective work! I did the same in the late '70's and found my parents (divorced) so two separate reunions. So great to have had them in my life -my dad for over 20, my mother for over 30 before they passed.

Your story is incredible. Great chronological work. The music, however, gets in the way, very distracting, too loud. Instrumental would have been nice, but your voice alone would have been sufficient. You have a nice tone and diction. Just a comment in case you decide to make another video.
So her mom married her dad :'( I bet it was the grandparents who forced them to give their baby up for adoption. I can't believe the gradma lied and denied it all. She had no right to do that. She was driven by shame and guilt. That was more important to him than her daughter's feelings or her granddaughter's search. Wow she could have redeemed herself during that call but showed her true colors. I'm so glad your mom kept looking! What a search! Wonderful happy ending!
When I watch these kinds of videos I am so struck with the fact that as hard as it seems- if these pregnancies had been today the temptation to abortion would be so strong. I salute these women who have had these babies and given them life through adoption. That should be the only choice instead of termination of a pregnancy. You can’t undo it or get a second chance. This is the wonderful work of second chances.
