These are your best videos on your channel by far. The attention to detail and the information you provide is priceless. As a collector of more than 20 years myself it's rare to hear new trivia, but every time you release one of these videos I'm amazed at the new facts I discover. Thanks coop, keep up the great work 👍
So cool seeing mega ‘men’ and sumo fighter end up in your collection by way of Florida. I was the original seller via the double jump buy/sell/trade group a few years back…so they’ve made it full circle. I had bought them off of a guy who found them at a garage sale. So minty-the tear on sumo was there when I bought them…so not sure what happened but definitely a shame.
Awesome gear! Do you have any videos where you show your spreadsheet of your collection? Always have problems keeping track of all my stuff and would love some ideas.
Lol the whole thing with the car variant boxes makes since to me! I collect comics and I am always looking for variants but maybe that’s the collector in me 😂
Did the gray cart variants have different packaging? You collect Complete only, but for the grey carts you don't? Or are all gray carts mail away fixes that came cart only?
They do not have different packaging, at least not different enough to really be considered much of a variant other than the cart color. Only Turok was the mail-away one as far as I know. The others were most likely just fixed behind the scenes, and later print runs just had the grey cart inside the box instead of the colored one.
Gear - ended up being an hr + but kept me engaged and interested the entire time. Hella great pickups, Coop! I love all the back stories that go with a lot of them too!
I spotted Homer at the beginning of the video. I love Top Gear. A fun game. I met someone today who warches your videos as well. I bought Phix Adventure game for PS1 from him today. I told him I watched a recent pickup video where someone bought it. He said he saw it too on your channel. I thought that was pretty cool.
Hello Cooper,Do you have the red protector that goes under the mouse to protect the ball and the tool to clean the mouse with your Mario Paint bundle?...I am also the owner of this variant of the Zombies Ate My Neighbors CIB Game!
Great video. What is the best way to tell that a game has a reproduction box? Was just thinking about that with the Zombies Ate My Neighbors box variant being so expensive. Seems like there's a lot of incentive for scammers out there. (oh, Gear).
All the clothes haha (no judgment, esp since laundry is in there and coop was mostly in front of it)... just goes to show that life is always moving. I only mention it, cause my wife woulda killed me!
That Game Boy comic was not from Nintendo Power. There were a few Valiant Comics series back in the 90s. The one you have in this video is issue #4 of a 1991 9-issue series called Nintendo Comics System. The first 4 issues reprints the original 4-issue Game Boy comic from 1990. Issues 5, 6, 8, and 9 were Super Mario Bros issues, and issue 7 was The Legend of Zelda. There was also a 1991 5-issue series of The Legend of Zelda, as well a second printing where everything was in a different order, really bizarre. A 1990 5-issue series of Captain N: The Game Master. A 1990 6-issue series called just Super Mario Bros. Lasty, a 1991 9-issue series called Adventures of the Super Mario Bros which seems to have some reprints of the 1990 Super Mario Bros series. I can't speak much about the Super Mario Bros stuff, nor the Nintendo Comics System series except for the Zelda issue. I have all of the Zelda stuff, including the second prints, the Captain N series, and I have read the Game Boy series, but not the reprints in Nintendo Comics System.
Was it gear of war or gears of war? Successful road trips I’d say! Why would they go through all that trouble to only print 10 variant Zombie covers? Maybe it was a run of 100?
Hey dude don't take this the wrong way but as a previous business owner and soon to be business owner, doing exactly the same thing you are doing. Do you ever think about how much money you could actually make if you didn't waste it on shovel ware ??? Or having 15 versions of the same console ???? I used to have a room just like yours, had thousands of games, 40+ consoles. Then I woke up and realised not only could I not play all of this in a life time but how much money is just sitting there. Opened a business did really well, have moved to the UK and about to do the same thing. I still collect and I still have way to much stuff but I don't keep more than 1 of anything, I don't buy stuff just for the sake of having it and only buy games that I am actually going to play. You have no idea how much you are missing out on, plus you don't need a complete Wii, 3DS or Switch collection unless you just want shelves of garbage that you are never going to play. Seriously. It really seems like this has gone beyond collecting and now is a problem that you might want to get help for
It's kind of why people watch though. It's pretty interesting watching someone willing to spend thousands on a variant. He has been clever about it, opening a store to make a living but mainly as a way to source games. It also seems baffilingly lucrative as it employs 5 people. He will end up with investments that have increased in value way more than any bank account or shares and has fun doing it. The contents of that room could probably pay off his mortgage. All that taken into account, you have to give him some credit.
Wow that Zombie ate my neighbors box variant, I do like the art on this better than on the original although I also like the PAL one simply called Zombies better than the US one as well. Let me shift a Gear and as I know the N64 is your Nr1 system to collect for I recently came across something that seems to be very rare as well, the Nintendo 64 / N64 - Funtastic Employee Console Suitcase. Have you ever seen one?
would be more beneficial if you paid attention to your physical health and put money towards that rather than junk games to check off boxes noone cares about.

Those are all nice N64 things and nice collections!!
What do you use when you play your switch handheld? Joycons or something like the Hori split pad?
Awesome gear! Do you have any videos where you show your spreadsheet of your collection? Always have problems keeping track of all my stuff and would love some ideas.

Very nice finds. Now I’m geared up to go game hunting!

I just have a question. Gear?
Gear :) Awesome pickups as always Cooper
Hey Cooper! I'm also going for a full Nintendo Power set and am only missing 15 issues.
You're way closer than me! so close!
Hello Cooper,Do you have the red protector that goes under the mouse to protect the ball and the tool to clean the mouse with your Mario Paint bundle?...I am also the owner of this variant of the Zombies Ate My Neighbors CIB Game!
That Zombies is rad, great pickup! Love my original CIB one. Great game.
Love these videos and the tips/trivia you throw in too. You grabbed some great gear to add to the collection!
Great video. What is the best way to tell that a game has a reproduction box? Was just thinking about that with the Zombies Ate My Neighbors box variant being so expensive. Seems like there's a lot of incentive for scammers out there. (oh, Gear).
I like to imagine your hair goes all the way down to the floor

All the clothes haha (no judgment, esp since laundry is in there and coop was mostly in front of it)... just goes to show that life is always moving. I only mention it, cause my wife woulda killed me!
I couldn’t find the other video you were talking about. This one might’ve beat it
Is kiwi kraze the same game as new Zealand story ?
Not sure
How do I get to be part of this secret retail store Facebook group?
Cool video. I noticed you have alot of those games that have a code inside instead of a cardridge. You dont mind that as a collector?
This was amazing!!!! Love the pick-ups and the Gear!!!🎮🏆🎮🏆
Once again great video. Amazing pickups. 👏
Nice pickups and gear! 👍👍

Love these videos from you. Very informative. Gear
I like the hour + videos
TROG! was such a great/ classic game :D
Gear, I like that stack of switch games addition.
Was it gear of war or gears of war? Successful road trips I’d say! Why would they go through all that trouble to only print 10 variant Zombie covers? Maybe it was a run of 100?
Gear, didn't make that half hour mark 😂

Let the man child continue his quest of blunder and distraction from adulthood unmolested.

GEAR. I usually don't reply to videos but this video was kind of insightful. I didn't know some of the variants that existed.
Wow that Zombie ate my neighbors box variant, I do like the art on this better than on the original although I also like the PAL one simply called Zombies better than the US one as well.
