As someone whose 2nd favorite SNES game is DKC2 (only bested by Super Mario World), the giant double-sided DKC2 and Killer Instinct box really caught my eye, but I knew 1) there was no way I was affording it and 2) even less of a way that I was getting it home more than 2000 miles away on an airplane without it being completely ruined. What a sweet piece, though!
Nightmare busters is not really a homebrew but a game that were ment for the snes during the end of its life cycle. The code was found online by Super fight team and was like 95% complete to a game. They contacted the original developer and finished it, then made the fysical release.
Nightmare busters is sort of homebrew, it was half made back in the day and shown in EGM magazine but was abandoned. Years later the same crew started it up again and finished it. They did 2 runs of cart version and was going to do a 3rd but didn't get enough orders to justify it. Its pretty rare. Its up to you if you want to consider it homebrew.
Bro, You got Aero Fighters (Super NES, CiB). Congrats Cooper. Lots of Awesome Super NES games picked up as you’re so close to finishing the set. I’m also going for a complete Super NES set and right now, I’m at 180, getting really close to 200. My favorite Super NES game and easily my favorite game of all time is Chrono Trigger. It’s one of the greatest JRPGs I’ve ever played and I found it at Saratoga Comic Con last year. Great Episode as always Cooper.
Really enjoyed the video! If I may offer a critique, I really enjoyed the favorite SNES game section because it added some more personality to the video and it’s fun to hear peoples stories, but it did feel like it dragged a bit and took focus away from the actual SNES hunt. I’d love to see more cutaway segments like that but more concise!
Great video, with some amazing additions! Thought I had my hands full with PAL set (thankfully just 530 games) really enjoying this series.... keep 'em coming!
Homebrews can possibly be some of the best games for the console they're made for eg xeno crisis, demons of asteborg, alwas awakening, data man just to name a few, limitations encourage creativity
I love seeing some one i went to school with be as successful as you man. You followed your passion when we where all partying. Great Success, Very Nice!
Loved the video and seeing you add to your SNES collection. I really loved the Mega Man 2 style intro as well. Looking forward to part 3, and the next pick up video.
howdy! a little high end feedback on the mic at the start. can defo lower your mic volume a click or 2 and see what works best 👍🏻 i dont even own an external mic so my sound is terrible but i have played rave gigs for nearly 20 years lol
man the fav SNES game is hard for me since its my fav console. Id say the BEST game, whether its my fav or not is Super Mario World. My fav i cant pick just one but Super Mario World, Super black Bass, Act Raiser and Tecmo Super Bowl. Those are the games I played the most. I still play Super Black Bass and Tecmo Super bowl ALL the time!
I'm glad you picked up that Aero Fighters! That's the first time I've seen one CIB and it was super nice! I was looking at it right before you and I'm glad you got it since I knew you needed it!
I went on eBay earlier last week to look up copies of Aero Fighters. The price shocked me. I never had it growing up and I never pay attention to value. I'll never understand the point of that. But it looks like I won't be adding it to my collection.
Aw, man. I wish I knew what you were walking around looking for. I was there with a CIB copy of RPM Racing in my backpack of trade stuff. It's still there too.
I feel like I had sunk lots of hours in Donkey Kong Country 2 as well. So many hidden Gems, and while, I do like Mario World, it might go to DKC2 as favorite SNES game i do really like DKC but Diddy.
I think I got that sealed Packy and Marlon you were talking about on eBay! That Captain Novolin I ordered a while back ended up being a scam but I ended up finding a sealed one! So now I have both diabetes games sealed! :D
Aero Fighters is just one of those expensive games that I don't think anyone really is nostalgic for and is just a collection checkbox that really doesn't cross the mind of the average 80s or 90s kid at all. I guess Stadium Events is the pinnacle of "WTF, why?" vs NWC which I think most kids at the time can understand the value and price for.
Awesome video as normal Cooper. I didn’t realise you were so close!!! My fave Super Nintendo game is probably Yoshis island or maybe DKC2 like yourself 1 was awesome but 2 was insane I’d never see graphics like that before on a snes and the variety in dkc2 is awesome too with all the animals I fully understand why you like it so much it is a 10/10 banger 🔥🔥
Is that guy new or what? That pokemon box had all kinds of condition issues. Not worth grading or is it easier to sell than the games that were traded for. Cooper got lucky af
I wouldn't have traded that Pokemon sealed game for what you did, but I do understand why you did it. Also - maybe I'm living in 2016 collecting still (when I was hot and heavy into finishing my collection off) - but 450$ for a plastic sign seems kind of silly when I bought my light-up SNES sign + SNES tabletop kiosk during that same period each for less. It's a scarcity economy I guess with the SNES nowadays and you take what you can get.
It's hard selling a 7k item. Not a lot of buyers for that. And now he got some great items for his collection (including Aero Fighters!) while he only had 1k into it.
@@maartenn2217 It's a sealed Pokemon game. Those aren't terribly common and people cream in their pants for it. Those guys he traded that sealed game to will likely get it graded and add a ton of value to it by doing so. It's the racket that goes on now. If he ever wants to get a complete NES set, he himself could've got it graded and tried selling or trading it towards a Stadium Events or NWC cart - (or a Mountain Bike Rally/Speed Racer SNES game which is likely one he also wants that isn't part of the "official" set). I understand his mindset of "Well it's tough to unload a pricey game" but with all his connections to other gamestores and his frequency going to conventions, if he puts it out there he wants to trade that puppy towards something, he would've gotten a better offer then what he got eventually guaranteed.
@@SicCooperOfficial Thanks for this, sorry for the slow reply. I know you got another copy in the video but wanted to check if this one you're selling off is fully complete like you got it in the video; poster and reg included. Can't tell from the website, thanks!
No attendance. Why spend $50 to enter a room to buy games when I can just buy online and have the games come to me. I know you love hunting, but naw, I'm good.
There’s a lot more to conventions than the vendor hall. There is a massive arcade and pinball free play area, cosplay contests, Tetris world championships competition, panels from game developers, voice actors, and TH-camrs, a museum, voice actor signings, etc
Thanks for having me in the video dude. You rock! 🤘
Metal Jesus has a grill cheese between his legs 🦵
Thanks for having me in this video my friend! Happiness
You rock!
Happy to help with the hunt. Was great seeing everyone
Dude at 8:23 is a genius
Pleasure to meet you! Glad you were able to score Packy & Marlon from my booth! Looks like it’s going to a good home!
Those trades were INSANE. Great haul!!!

It's Link to the Past, every year for 28 years for me. Great video, I'll never have the set but it's my favorite system to play.

I completely agree with John Riggs.

True Lies is a lot of fun. Be on the look out for the poster that came with it. Took me a few years to find one for my CIB copy.
Thanks for having me on Coop.

I must say as well it seems the prices are cooling down on Snes now which is nice for newer collectors

Great finds on No Escape, The Great Waldo Search and Operation Thunderbolt. All 3 of those are sneaky uncommons.

There was an aerobiz supersonic manual on a table for $40, could of completed it!
How do you insure that kind of a collection?
Home owners insurance covers some, but the rest you have to get supplemental insurance, usually geared towards collectibles.
