I had 74 Kw 900 with a 8v-92 with a 13 speed in California it had 450 hp i used to pick up recycled cardboard bailles from Costco in Bakersfield coming back to riverside going up the crapevine on interstate 5 she pulled very good .
Man... I wish I could do that. I bet that sounded so cool! I ran cali for a couple years with a reefer and I would give anything to hear an 8v92 pulling the hills out there.
Absolutely brilliant video, I just subscribe to your channel. Can you please do more driving videos like this one only a lot longer because this thing sounds amazing and then the next one can you see if you can send Jake brakes as well thanks man stay safe and have a good one.
@@8v92shenanigans oh I gotcha will you please still continue to do more long driving videos because those are my favorite and my all-time favorite ones are ones where you do the start up and drive those are my all-time favorite
Used to have an 85 W900 with a B Model and a 15 speed ( buttonhook pattern like yours ). How is it on the fuel? Mine only got 4.8 mpg on a good day. A Silver 92 got my nose and ears open to trucking ages ago.
That's awesome! ya don't see many B models with 8v's anymore either. My MPG isn't too bad, I got 5.6 for the year last year. but I do try to pull fuel milage 98% of the time. Also keep in mind I'm loaded only 1 way, so that helps too.
No way. 5.6 mpg? That's actually pretty good for the set up you have! There are modern W900s with the Cummins X15 that don't do that well ( they're in the 5.5 - 6.2 mpg range ). And God help them if they break, everything hurts money wise. Oh, just to clarify, my old W900 had a 3406B Model Caterpillar😊
Love detroits, i got a 79 359 lowbed truck 8v92 silver 6n4 trans 445 hp and a 89 379 log truck i put a 12v71tt in . Can use them nomore in calif. Sad but keeping them for showing.
Sweet sounding Detroit. I remember when the highways were full of this sound. Nothing anywhere sounds like a two stroker. Mechanical symphony.
Perfect stock exhaust!!!
I have to say this, this truck pulls like there's nothing back there, that's when you know a truck is running right.
I like your truck that 8 v92 is a good engine.what year is your truck. Can you show me a picture of your.
Beautifull!
