Well bro, your comment is just so cringe. He explained why he surprised his parents with the car, if you actually watched the video. We can’t help it if he was blessed with such amazing parents. Haters gonna hate, that’s all I’m going to say. #Sorry not sorry.
Why is dude even doing this, your parents are not car people, they look like very responsible parents when it comes to money and the video is showing posture and body language where they're on the inside saying Omg why did you spend so much money! But they are making sure not to make you feel bad verbally.
That is a nice tradition to surprise each other with new cars - your parents seemed happy and surprised. Families enjoying each other's success is important.
Nice folks! I got a used 911 cab in 2020 as my mid life crisis BD gift and have been enjoying it since. I am looking into CTR as a daily in the next few years. The current daily is SLK 350 and both my 911 and SLK are manual.
Cool vid and great tradition of surprising each other with new car purchases. I bought a Champ White FL5 2 months ago. This car is so much fun to drive and always puts a smile on my face. Your parents are awesome. I used to own a 2001 RSX TYpe S. Man I loved that car. Don't ever let it go unless it dies.
how is the daily driving on the CTR? Im in a similar situation; looking to buy a manual sports touring for daily use but also really love the wide body design on the CTR and I would really love to own one... the pricing situation is what's holding me back and it's quite a bit more money than I can afford at the moment.
I’ll have to do a video on the ownership/driving experiences down the road. But the ownership and driving this car has been amazing so far. Absolutely no regrets on this purchase.
@@randomrebuilds Awesome, looking forward to that video. Also, do you do your own maintenance or do you take it in? If so, how much would you say you have spent on maintenance?
@@BruceN0twayne Just did the first break in oil change @2k. Hardest part was raising the car and removing the under shield - after that it was cakewalk. Yes, I do my own maintenance to save money and that I don't trust other folks wrenching on my cars.
@@randomrebuilds Nope no worries, I have respect for those doing their own maintenance. Just curious whether you brought it in or not and how much it costs to maintain.
Is there a specific reason why you say 2024 Honda Civic Type R that often? I wonder if it has something to do with the TH-cam algorithm and the money you get payed from that. Btw nice reaction from your lovely parents.
@@randomrebuilds I would much prefer a shorter form like Civic or FL5 or Type R if you dont get payed from anybody saying the hole name all the time like on a TV spot
suprising your parents with your own car? thats so cringe

dumb comment tbh
Literally says surprising each other with new cars is a thing his family has been doing since the early 2000s cause his dad started doing it.
idk about you but i'd love for my parents to be as excited as his were about his purchase

You have cool parents.
Yes
I find myself making up reasons to drive mine. It's so much more fun than I expected.
Same here and I always try to take the long way to my destination and also on the way home. Sometimes hoping to catch lights so it takes longer 😆

Your parents are too sweet
I miss my parents so much 😔. The TypeR looks amazing 🙏

LOVELY
That’s such a great feeling
this is going to be me in about 8 years from now, another midlife crisis to buy another sports car lol
You did not have the heart to tell them its a Race Car!

Mind slips from saying FL5 so 2024 number gets spoken instead.
