mine, 2009, is rotting in exactly the same place. i thought it was smashed and poorly fixed by previous owner, but i see it in many other C4Ps. it's not a bug, it's a feature :D I'm going to fix it next week
Did you need to disconnect the Battery and Alternator in the car before you you started to weld, or anything else? And thanks for the great video, Chris

I had a 2009 Citroen Picasso, rusted in the same place. It's not like you can even buy replacement sills, you have to patch from scratch
My 2007 is also rotting like this, definitely a design flaw in there somewhere!

Yes I always disconnect battery when welding, I usually leave alternator connected with no issues
