I discovered a glitch when I was a kid. You guys can try it if you want. OK. Make sure knuckles is your partner, then head to the first map. Run right until you get to the breakable barrier in the floor, and break it. As soon as you have pressed the button which activates the spring, Hold R to tag Knuckles, and throw him at the spring. Knuckles should be catapulted miles into the stratosphere, and then fall like a meteor through the floor and die. I was genuinely amused when I first saw it. :3

Huh, no mention of the Twinkle Snow Act 2 glitch where jumping and hitting the spring with Amy's hammer forces you onto a different layer from most of the level.
helfire14 I found glitches in the very first Sonic Advance that nobody else seemed to know of, and they also involve Knuckles :D Like, go to the Egg Rocket zone and when you get to where Knuckles will turn upside down in the outer space area, have him slide along the ground right in that small area where the screen flips you upside down (the boundary area between upside down/right side up). If you do it right, slide right and turn upside down, then head left, you'll stay upside down even though he should have turned back right-side up. Similar glitch in the Cosmic Angel zone. In both zones you can use this to even die on the ceiling and enter spots that temporarily corrupt the character.
Were you playing the European prerelease ROM of the game? Because I remember that version having the Chaos Angel boss results screen corruption at 4:19.
As soon as I saw the red stripes after the Cyber Track boss, I knew this was the beta version of the game. Then the Spikes after the Chaos Angel boss confirms this. This game he is playing is NOT the final version.

I never saw anything of the sort. I discovered it myself, but never recorded it. (This was before I sold it.)

SorachiJirachi It's possible. I found this more than a decade ago, so I honestly don't know if I had come across the alpha or not.
