The video assumes Windows 11; I built my sim pc a few years ago with Win 10 using a 47" tv as the primary display. No fault of RSG but I'm still trying to determine whether the touchscreen HAS to be the primary display (which makes it extremely difficult to run and configure X-Plane from it), otherwise it looks like I'm left to rebuilding my entire system with new hardware and an upgraded OS. I still need to add a couple G5's and a CFC-500 to get the setup I'm flying IRL.

Can I get some more context? Are you using the RealSimGear G5 and GTN750? Then the software to power the G5 is a Panel Builder 3, which is showing an error? Or do you have the gauges on a separate monitor? Just at first glance here it sounds like a panel builder 3 issue, but I could be missing something

Is the GTN750 compatible with MSFS and PMS50?

When I try to make my gtn750 screen a 2d panel in xplane 12, I only get the unused option. Any idea how to fix that?

Go into Windows display settings and make sure your 750 panel is showing up as monitor 2. Then go into X-Plane, Graphics tab, scroll right to Monitor 1 (it uses ordinal numbering so the first one is 0), and you should be able to select 2-D display.

@@paulwright7239 Having the same issue, only unused. My 750 panel is verified as #2 in windows, monitor 1 in xplane.

@@bonro001 Yep, I've given up on making this work with Windows 10. Just learned my motherboard doesn't have TPM 2.0 so it's going to be an even more expensive upgrade than I thought.

@@paulwright7239 sorry to hear that. I am running windows 11 with a reasonably new motherboard, not thinking that that’s the issue that I’m facing.
