The gameboy advance gave me a lot of nostalgia when I saw it.... I feel like taking it out now.... Too bad I don't know where the charger is. Also I my yoshi's island game is in my other ds so not really anything worthwhile to play unless I find that. ;-; whyyyyyy!

It was a fantastic console and we get to be the select few that know this secret.
The Wii U was my first ever console, and I still boot it up sometimes, and I have it to thank for my love of gaming. RIP Wii U, you were seen as a failure, but you'll never be a failure in my eyes.
I feel nostalgia from the DS and 3DS, but definitely especially from the WiiU as well. I played so much Scribblenauts Unlimited back then. And so much Mario Maker. And so much of many other Wii and WiiU games.
I bought it one year ago just for emulating and it is almost perfect for that
The Wii U as a console wasn’t very good when it came to supporting hardware for other games, but holy shit the games that were on the Wii U were legendary. I still go back and play on that console

Many nintendo consoles don't have start screens; NES(Non Japan Version), SNES, Original N64, and Wii.
The switch animation might seem off to you but that is actually what it looks like to start it for the first time after taking it out of the package.

I remember I currently had a DS lite, and while on a vacation at the coast, we were in a shopping mall, and I came across a 3DS on display. I was so surprised they made a new one, and I played the demo and the 3D aspect of it freaked me out, felt like magic. I wanted one so bad. I eventually got one for my birthday😁.

Just something always been special about that GameBoy Advance startup screen ever since I was a kid. Always loved it.
Gamecube startup is pure nostalgia for me. I remember staying up until 2 am with my dad while he would play the Zelda Collector's Edition.
Game boy advance is my favorite startup screen. It's so satisfying to listen to.
I don’t care what anyone says, the DS and 3DS had the best startups. Every time I hear them (especially the og DS) I feel like a kid again. I specifically remember being at my grandparents house playing New Super Mario Bros and Mario Vs Donkey Kong 2 and being so immersed in the game that I didn’t realise how hard I was tapping the screen with my stylus and accidentally cracked it.
God I loved my Nintendo DS still probably my favorite handheld. One of my favorite game systems overall tbh. That, my gameboy advance and my GameCube. Man Nintendo really was responsible for my whole childhood
