Band Maid have been together for ten years. They are touring the US again and Japan to celebrate. The band has never made a song you want to skip over. Even in the early days when they didn't write their own material (they write most of their music now) it is all worth several listens. Their live performances are unique and they are still evolving and getting better if that was possible. There are many great bands in Japan and many are much bigger. But Band Maid remain out there on their own for me.
This is the best proper Rock and Roll band of the 21st century. Riffs, hooks, sing a long choruses fused with face melting impossibly hard rock. Approachable and extremely inventive writing and execution make BandMaid a crazy good band. 😊
I saw them live in Detroit USA 🇺🇸 back in may and they are incredible!!! Po Akane on drums she hits you like a wave 🌊 she one of the best drummers out there Po! And Miku on rhythm guitar 🎸 and backup vocals she founder of the band her voice live is amazing 🤩 and Saiki the lead singer she the Ice Queen her vocals are just beautiful and amazing live and Misa the badass bass guitar 🎸 player I was on her side at the concert her bass playing skills are just crazy crazy crazy crazy good love Misa she incredible Po! And of course we have the legend the GOAT Kanami one of the best guitar 🎸 players ever! Best band in the world 🌎 Band-Maid cheers 🍻 check out freedom live by them it’s awesome 👏👍🎸🔥🌎🤘🤘
Dude I am a devoted fan myself. Grew up in a household where all types of music were listened to jazz, gospel, r&b, county, disco, pop, soul some classical , adult contemporary as well as light rock. However this is the only group since the J 5 appeared on the Ed Sullivan show that I found so interesting.
Yes they are super. Also impossible to get a ticket to see live. They were dam* sold out EVERYWHERE within 48 hrs of the tickets going on sale. Perhaps I can convince someone to leave one to me in their will. I think I'll try writing the Maids personally to buy one!

As the old saying goes, "you never forget your first" and this still remains my favourite, although admittedly it's a very very tight field with the so many incredible songs that they have.

I went to my first Band Maid concert in May when they came to Atlanta. I'm going to their show in Minneapolis in August. Once you go to a Band Maid concert, you want to go to more. During the concert Saiki and Miku take a few minutes to interact with the audience. During that "Omajani" break, the audience really sees their personalities and interact with them. Often hilarity ensues. Do yourself a favor and go to one of their concerts.

ANY SONG by these 5 young Ladies will be good. I do not think they even know HOW to make a bad song. Even the older songs that they didn't write, they were very involved in the arrangement of those songs, and how they sound. These Ladies have impeccable taste in their music, and are such humble and honest people, I consider them to be my daughters. And many other fans consider them to be family members as well. Grand-daughters, sisters, aunts and nieces. These Ladies are special in that way.
