"Show how real skin looks like" I mean small pores is real skin too lol, skin comes in different types, that's normal You, shouldn't be seeking validation how real skin looks like from other people, but yourself.
Pls remember it depends more on the color of your dark circles. If yours are purple try a yellow and if they’re blue try peach! If your dark circles are more brown hyperpigmentation pink will be best.
I was just about to comment that circle color is more important. My skin color is similar to hers, but my circles look like dark bruises, and the deep orange is the only one that actually works for me. My concealer has no trouble covering it.
You're exactly right. It depends on the color of the dark circles. The concealer will cover it, especially of your dab the application on and not wipe it on. You can't use a translucent concealer, it has to be full coverage and dab. It will cover the orange color corrector. This video is so misleading. I lighter concealer alone will not completely cover the circles.
I used red lipstick for A WHILE. Because I thought it corrected the situation then I just stopped but this makes so much sense. Glad to have discovered you today.
Also use orange only for blue/black under eyes, use yellow/greenish for violet or red under yes, it depends on the colour you have, orange doesn't correct everyone eye circles 😅
I so appreciate that we can actually see some darkness under your eyes before you apply the product! Not only is it authentic and doesn't push an unnatural standard, it also just helps see the difference in what the products do which is absolutely necessary for a video demonstrating them
All you have to do is find the hue of your dark circles then find it on the colour wheel and use the colour diagonal to it as it cancels it out. That's why they have colour correctors that are green, purple, peach etc. And depending on the darkness of the under eyes you can then go either slightly lighter or slightly darker than that colour if it's still peaking through or you don't want heavy coverage, then you won't have to do so many layers.
@@silumilu9936 what I did was download apps that make you take a picture of your face, identifies your skin tone color and then provides you with a number to represent the color. I actually find myself looking worse when I manage to fully cover the darkness of my under eyes 👀 It's like they're giving "dimension" or something... Best product for me so far is a brightening corrector with just a light coverage.
Same actually. I have layered skin around my eyes and if I fully cover the area up until my tear bad and upper eyelid, my eye looks smaller and unnatural. I always leave my upper lid alone and only cover my under eye bags below my tear bag so that a little bit of the darkness still remains
It depends how dark the circles are. A lighter color will trum gray and won't cover the circle. My circles are dark, and after trying everything the orange corrector has been the only thing that has worked.
Exactly, the orange worked. I think she's hung up on skin color and not dark circles. The orange will neutralize tge dark circles no matter what your skin color is. Then you just put a concealer or foundation or tinted moisturizer on top that matches your skin tone.
Orange-peach only cancels blue. So if your dark circles are burgundy, purple, brown or grey, this is not for you. TikTok is wrong about using the same saturation for everybody and she is wrong for assuming that only blue dark circles exist. Two cases of _one size fits all_

Orange is there to neutralize the dark blue in the undereye. It should be used very locally, usually just inner corner, and is not not meant to match your skin color. You obviously don’t have that problem but if you had, blue tone wilth light concealer will turn ashy. Orange concealer has been a gamechanger for me.
No? Just because I have really really heavy and dark undereyes, does not mean I'm supposed to use deep orange. Darkness doesn't change the tone of color, peach is still the right option for me. How dark they are barely makes a difference. It just means that I might use more product for better coverage.
It’s kinda more complicated than she makes it in the video. You’re both right, and it also has to do with your skin tone [warm neutral cool], not just hue but also not just the darkness of the circles. It’s all about color theory. I have dark circles and a lighter hue but olive skin. Since i have a harder time finding my shade in foundation and concealers so i get a warmer shade and mix green color concealer to make it work, which for the ones i have makes it more yellow. That helps cover the purple in my dark circles because yellow neutralizes purple, but for the blue i put down just a little bit of a light orange concealer only where it’s needed, since orange neutralizes blue, and blend it. Then when i put the concealer i mix on top my circles are covered nicely. Its like putting on green concealer over red spots, you don’t slather the area in green unless your whole cheek is red or something [which happens to me too sometimes], only put the amount you need to cover the spot, blend it. Then regular foundation or concealer over it depending on how you do your makeup.
@@yazzyari9746 Tbh I left undertone out of the conversation because most of the time it doesn't make a big difference. Or it's easier to look at the color itself. For me it just works in my favor and i only need a dot of orange concealer under to cancel the blue on days when my dark circles are bad. I have the same skin tone as you, and I used to use the red corrector cus I have a lot of hyperpigmentation and it turned my foundation into a light pink color
if u have warm skin tone, use orange if u have dark skin...if u have lughter skin tone...just use a light peach colour for your eyebags or dark circle...pink is absolutely not an option for warm skin toned, pink shades are for cool skin toned
so true. I have a light complexion, but back then when every mua was telling people to USE ORANGE under your eyes. First I was like, huh? But yeah, still I tried once since I wanted to believe the professionals. Then I found it looked so strange that I refused to go anywhere with that weird, even patchy undereye situation. So later I tried a pink kinda shade, layer it up step by step, immediately it felt better.
you can use that bright orange too but you need a tiny amount of it which will require even less product. i was taught this in makeup school. take a tiny bit of orange on your hand and tap a bit of it onto the brush. tap most of it off on your hand and then apply on your face where needed (so only on blue/purple areas like under eyes). you should not see any orange after it’s blended in but your skin should look more even. then apply concealer to make it more even and that’s it :)
Orange color corrector are for those who skin consist of red/orange/ brown skin tones & undertones… for more pale skin you’d want to use like an lilac, green, etc
Thank youuuu so much I've tried the orange corrector and it only made my situation worse because of my skin color but pink concealers always made things better and i thought I'm just not mixing things well or I'm buying a bad brand... thank you so much
I have really fair skin and i have always used an orange creamy lipstick to cover my undereyes i just grab a little bit on the side of my hand. Then i add a super ivory water base concealer just one dip of the applicator. Then blend that out with my fingers then apply that to both of my panda undereyes . Looks like a peachy color. Lipstick Bissú cheap asf makeup brand. I paid no more than 2dlls for it. And a liquid concealer that i got from Temu in an ivory shade that cost me maybe another 2 dlls. The trick is to apply just a small amount. Then after i do all my mascara and eyeshadow i add another dip of a natural concealer just 1 shade above my natural skin color to neutralize the peachy tone. And that looks perfect on me. Just add the amount that you would think is for 1 eye to your hand. Then grab it woth your finger and blend it . Use it for both eyes. That's my trick and fo suuuper cheap. The concealer i add on top is just a little bit on the medium price. Around maybe 15dlls. And i would avoid setting with powder. If you are over 30 years like me. It's better to use a q-tip to remove any fall out of eyeliner or eyeshadow after a couple hours then re apply your concealer. For a touch up. That and a dry towel for the face gently pat it all over your face. Then re -apply blush. And if needed a touch up of the undereye eyeliner. If you used a primer the top eyelids should be fine. Those are my own tips.
I agree that damn red/orange never worked and i did not like how it made my concealer looked or Fondation. I use a pinker color, and im not fair skinned but maybe its works better with my undertone i can actually put it on w/o concealer.

sorry, super long comment 😅
Thsnk you for this video! It was super useful! We need an eye make up for hooded yes please!
I always mix the shade I need with different shades and concealer. You just need to understand color theory and than it's pretty easy.
Wow, your makeup skills are truly amazing di. Waiting for such more videos! 🤩✨
You are always a godsend. ❤❤❤
Charlotte tilburry and tarte both have rly good ones . Tarte has shaped tape one and another Amazonian clay or something. I like the latter. Charlotte is the best tho imo.. also some cheaper ones like elf pixi catrice etc... I've tried so many
i usually used my peachy blush for covering dark spot under eyes.. lol it just easier
1. Pick the right corrector 2. Pick the right concealer shade 3. Don’t apply so much of either product (both are caked on here)
Honestly orange shade peeks out and I let it peek out on purpose because it gives me the manhwa/webtoon character look I desire so much. Like it just works like a natural cute blush
Can you upload an eye makeup tutorial for dark eye circles both with and without concealor.
You 1245678th video about colour correcting is still entertaining and I’m still here watching all of it
the dark circles are still very noticable on the left
Do you have any suggestion for the fourth shade?
The fact that orange color did better work than the light pink one. Yes i could still see your dark circles on pink one
what brushes are you using
I have the same skin tone as you, and I used to use the red corrector cus I have a lot of hyperpigmentation and it turned my foundation into a light pink color
I could see through the side that was supposed to cover up the dark shadows
Omg I had this thought too. Red or orange will be too much when peach is perfect on my brown skin! I wondered why the wrong way was trending !
i do use peach because my circles are a weird mix of gray and blue
I just noticed this recently. My under eyes looks so much better without orange color corrector. I just need to find better shade of concealer.
Nooo the orange battle paint was so cool
if u have warm skin tone, use orange if u have dark skin...if u have lughter skin tone...just use a light peach colour for your eyebags or dark circle...pink is absolutely not an option for warm skin toned, pink shades are for cool skin toned
I think the orange side turned out better though. 😮
What I use for color correction is just use a concealer shade that is a shade darker than my skin, works just right.
If I put only concealer on my bad dark circles, looks kinda grey, so I use red orange base. Then still can’t cover everything but looks better.
Ma poi tutti triggers pazzeschi aaahhh il video perfetto 😍 il tuo scratching è favoloso ❤️
What is the brush name 😮
Thank you I was looking for this one info 😂
Tarte shape tape is an amazing concealer I even spread it all over my face as foundation. I haven’t used foundation for a long time thanks to it.❤❤
Why is the color corrector color based on your skintone? Shouldn't it be based on how dark the thing is that you are trying to cover.
I use peach for mine and barely any concealer to cover it. It works. Long it blends into your skin tone it works.
I agree that damn red/orange never worked and i did not like how it made my concealer looked or Fondation. I use a pinker color, and im not fair skinned but maybe its works better with my undertone i can actually put it on w/o concealer.
Lots of love from india..!!
The one with orange colour looks way better after.
It depends up on not the whole face complexion but the color of dark circles
As you can see in the card which is shown in it.
