Morten Harket still has a great voice. He was on The Masked Singer UK in 2021. The judges didn't recognize his voice because they didn't think outside the box, but listeners around the world recognized his voice right away. The songs I like best are We'll never speak again (2008) and Brother (2014). There are many norwegian artists who have become big in South America, and especially in Brazil. I wonder why.
Morten had a very powerful voice when he was young. He lost some of the power in his voice, but it's still good. The band has had internal conflicts for many years, but they are working through the conflicts. They are three very creative people, and they say themselves that all three want to have their hand on the wheel. They had a break in the 90s, when Morten started releasing albums. They reunited for the Nobel Peace Prize Concert in 1998, and released their sixth album in 2000. After their ninth album, they officially called it quits in 2010, but returned in 2015 and have released two more studio albums, in addition to their MTV Unplugged -album. The movie is interesting because it is not only musically interesting, but it also tells a story about men's friendship and cooperation. Director, Thomas Robsahm, has given many interviews about the prosess of making it, and points out that when you form a band, it is not necessarily friends who start playing together. They search for people who can play instruments and in some cases enter into lifelong, professional collaborations with people they were friends with as children (which is not common) and others they have little in common with outside of music. I think a lot of people will be interested to see someone's reaction to the movie. The band still has many fans around the world today, searching for a-ha reactions.
Oh.. A-ha has been through a lot of break-ups! They are among the bands who are known for their numerous farewell tours! ...but seems like they still enjoy making music together, so they come together now and then, make an album or 2.. Then split up again.
