The drill i used which helped me immensely was doing f, n, 2 repeatedly until you have a consistent amount of neutral frames (3 or 4 in my case), and then trying to time the df with the 2 press. With this method I didn't have to focus on my right thumb much and could work on getting the df (or d,df) right
Reminder for new players: your electric is only as good as your movement. My Kazuya pipeline went like this: I practiced my electric to be good, only to realize I had the neutral game of a wet potato. (Don’t make the same mistake and spend all your time in Practice Mode ONLY throwing out Electrics.) Great video, Averyx! I hope everything is going well for you at college.
movement and neutral is a huge part to making EWGF work well!! College has been going decent for the most part, just ready to be over with this semester, theres a few professors im ready to never see again LMAO
You absolutely earned my subscription. After trying to do the EWGF by doing it as you instructed I'm getting more consistent electrics. So going f * 2 + df in that order helped me out so much it's incredible. Thank you very much.
Hey im so glad to hear that it helped out with your electrics!! Theres tons of guides out there but I really wanted to make my own to explain that specific tip, because it helped me out SO much when first learning, keep practicing and youll get consistent in no time!
Averyx said that u should do f,n,df+2 if u can’t do f,n,d,df+2. I don’t recommend it since it cannot be done from a dash. I’d recommend you to practice ewgf for 5 mins a day, every day. For pewgf, I’d say that it’s worth practicing if you think it’s cool and fun. Just keep in mind that you’ll be sacrificing alot of time for ch df2 pewgf that you could use for anything more useful. Great vid tho❤
I absolutely love you man just spent 2 days learning to crouch dash with Raven. I saw this vid recommended and thought maybe i can finally learn to EWGF why not and man i got itttt the tips about being patient after tapping foward and usinf down foward immediately after instead of quater circle change the game for me i play with ps5 controller so i never thought i could do it be i can now consistently only took me like 15 min of practice
Just wanted to add in that there is another form of perfect electric you can do by skipping the neutral input. Command history will display F,D,DF2 and it will come out at 13 frames similar to the F,N,DF2 variant.
Nice vid! Something that worked for me which i also saw on a comment somewhere: you have more coordination in one hand than 2 so you can try and do electrics with one hand. I thought this was weird but i gave it a shot and mapping 2+3 to my L1 and then using the d-pad, i could hit electric a lot more consistently than using the 2 on the face buttons. So essentially i was doing f,n,df 2+3 with one hand and getting electrics. Also depending on your input for this, i found it tough to do on DJ & Jin because i would often get their grab since that df 2+3 is a grab? Idk I don't play either of them but wanted to see if i could hit electrics with all the mishimas. All the more reason to learn the 2 handed input, but for kaz, hachi and reina, the one handed method can work easily. Just know that misinputs run the risk of activating heat burst! I could barely get an electric pre-heihachi release but now I'm fairly consistent and my max electric streak is 15 :D
This is not correct, there are plenty of reasons why people could have problems with landing a move, and might be incorrectly inputting the move. Some people might even be confused on why they arent getting electric, and might need help on identifying what exactly is going on. it might not help everyone, but just because it doesnt help you does not mean it doesnt help others
@@AveryxFGC I'm not knocking you for trying to troubleshoot, but I spent a very long time looking for "the way" to get them better and the answer was just me as a player.
Brah. I'm off by 1 frame. 80% of the times, the rest is 2 frames. Wtf. How am I consistent in missing out by 1 frame ? 🥲 Need more practice..... Thx for the video

Afyer you explained the pewgf, I put my stubbornness away. Thanks for the vid.

@AveryxFGC appreciate it man good luck out there gotta practice the right side now😮💨

Thanks for this, def gonna practice this next sesh
This thinking the 2 before made me do an eletric. THE QUESTION IS HOW THE HELL DID THIS WORK???
I couldnt tell you why our brains work like this, all I can tell you is that it does LMAO
Amazing video thank you !!! Great advices

Almost 6 months of doing electric drills and Im still having hard time mastering it. But I can feel some progress 😅😅
keep going you got it!!
Ewgf guide is practically a twenty second explanation and all practice as no tip will give you the muscle memory
Well, I found it helpful to focus my practice better

@@jaleelkahn7032 Thats completely fair! Muscle memory is absolutely a huge part of EWGF, so practice is key!
i get WGF easy but EWGF just wont work
