Been a fan since before Alive, and with age I've come to appreciate this artist more and more. He is one of those few who brings something fresh to every performance. Always true to the song, but he's always THERE, 100% in the moment, note to note and so always original. In my 40s I began learning to play, and so my appreciation for what he does increased by orders of magnitude. Thanks to the person who shared this amazing rendition.
My favorite Peter Frampton song. I saw him do with on the "Raw" tour two nights ago (3/18/16) in Folsom, California, with Gordon Kennedy. I wish they could have played this at our local Open Mic earlier that night! ;-)
It does not matter how many times I watch this... it makes me cry. It is so deep. It shared his heart and soul here and its a very raw and beatutiful thing.

Here's proof that PF is a genius and a virtuoso. When I first learned that he had reimagined this iconic song as an acoustic guitar duet I thought NO WAY and I was set for it to be a disaster. But boy was I wrong. I don't have sufficient superlatives to describe how wonderful and insightful his playing is here. Furthermore as a hobbyist-guitarist I can really tell how difficult and intriguing his fingerwork is in this performance. Why hasn't he been inducted into the RRHOF?
Cheshire Cat I read an interview of PF when I was 16 in 76 n he said django Reinhardt was his greatest influence. I had to go to the world book encyclopedia then in my family's home to look up who django was. I started playing guitar as a middle aged man and now when I look back on my ignorance I just laugh n laugh
Did you borrow Sam Raimi's shakey cam to film this? I'm getting seasick just trying to watch it. Just located the zoom button and can't leave it alone?
