I watched your First Ladies video and really didn’t expect to like it as much as I did. I appreciate the fact that you talk about when a pattern has over one in it. I don’t like stitching over one and most floss tubers don’t mention that like you do. Hope to watch again soon!
If you have had a ton of caffeine and you feel like it isn’t helping, have a big glass of water. It’s amazing!! I worked night shift as a nurse for years and it really helps.

I had some Christmases like that when my kids were about the same age as yours. My thought was always that somehow things would work out and the next Christmas would be better and it always was, so hoping that's your experience as well. Happy 2024!
My kids (3) are in their 30s now-correction…my oldest just turned 40 a few weeks ago! We have had some humdinger’s of a holiday! Fortunately things have settled down and were nearly perfect this year. Kids will move in and out, just when you think you have lost them, they find their way back home. All you can do is give them a good basis, love them, fight for them, and pray for them. Sounds like you do all that and more. I think what your son gave you for Christmas volumes for the man he will be. Girls are always harder on their moms. Thanks for making videos! I am disabled and appreciate them so very much! Hubby and I got to visit Hobby House and your great state in August when we traveled in our trailer. I have relatives in NE Ohio and we wanted to see Niagara Falls and Mackinac Island. We loved MI and hope to be back someday.

My Christmas was great at times & not so good at other times! But...I survived. Going to start dedecorating tomorrow hopefully. Like your idea of a cozy rest of the winter, so gonna try to make that happen.
I have been gone and overwhelmed. I was so glad to see your video. I believe 2024 is going to be a most interesting year. I decided on 12 wips to work on and then if I can get them finished or at least half of them done then I will start on some of my kitted samplers just waiting in their little bags.

First time seeing you…don’t worry! I get the crap thing! Ours was the first time my husband and I were alone. I did not like that at all. I am caring for my mom who has dementia and that is a big change in my life. We all have life stuff and it certainly is not smooth much of the time. I hope your end of January is wonderful!!!

History Channel has done some great mini series, sort of combination drama and documentaries. You can watch them on Amazon Prime, Freevee or History Channel app. They did Washington ( that was fantastic ), Grant ( another favorite of mine! ) Lincoln and Teddy Roosevelt. I'm also going to rewatch the Ken Burns documentary on the Roosevelt's soon.. anything Ken Burns does is great. Most of his stuff is on PBS or even on TH-cam you may find some of his older stuff.

The lady that owns the Essamplaire, on esty, has had a mild stroke. I received an email. She was in the hospital mid-November to mid-December. She is selling off most of her silks and other supplies. She will continue to sell her charts.
Oh gosh, I had no idea!! I had messaged her earlier last year about the chart I'd like. Hopefully the chart will show up at some point if she is continuing to sell her inventory.
