    Place where custom paint meets motorcycles, helmets, guitars and more...
    Having fun with painting and custom builds, mostly motorcycles but you can find here anything else that is or can be turned into a good time!

    VERY cool and i ALWAYS liked the old warbirds like the p51 and p40 ( i was actually into rc planes before sport bikes lol) I know THIS one is a cafe racer style which is cool I'm sure you have heard of the confederate p51 (I'm thinking it's called the hellcat but that MIGHT be the p40 version) ANYHOW they aren't REALLY sport bikes but more modified vtwins I'd like to do a "knockoff" of one of these " confederate " bobbers only I'd like to do it with an inline 4cylinder lol the gsxr would be a great choice although I have an old 84 vf700s sabre with shaft drive BUT THAT one is of course a quad v though it would be cheaper to modify with steel frame but I'm hoping this spring to put out 2-3 cool bikes and the warbird scheme would be perfect for a confederate knock off project lol

    How did you do the rear mono shock . Did you do away with and put a strut in place

    • @MackieBass
      @MackieBass  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Frame was from Suzuki Katana, so the single shock already in place bud.

    Hi Mackie, very nice work there. Found you via Delboys garage and am interested to investigate what you could do with a currently standard Triumph Tiger 955i bike - I like the WW2 themes.

      Thanks David, possibilities are endless here! This style is one of my favorites so I'm sure we can come up with something bad ass for your Tiger! Just drop me an e mail or another message and we can take it from there!

      MackieBass Its a gsx750ES/EF frame right? Katana front end. GSX-R1100 engine or bandit 1200 n what rear wheel? Thanks keep up the good stuff

      Tyler Gopie nearly... gsxr750 engine and VZ800 rear wheel. this thing is a beast. it goes, stops and handles like it should...which is unusual for modified chops like that. working on a new project as we speak ;)

      MackieBass Sweet. Wish all the best for the new build. I'm currently building an old school Suzuki myself.

      Mackie b i was WAY off i guess on the confederate( i haven't kept up with them in a few years and I'll swear i THINK they actually keep changing the model numbers lol last i saw yesterday after i commented was generation 3 lol) but NOW I guess what he one i was referring to is the confederate hellcat x132 lol so if you know THIS one then you'll see the style i was talking about lol

    Get some good photos of your bike, print some biz. cards and leave on the seat when you are not riding. That is quality work and exposure will get you $$$$$$$$$$$. Cheers Eh!
