You can teach the first 5 books of the Bible. Christianity, Jewish, Islam all agree. But the names don't even need to be applied. Teach creation and tie it in with what Scientist believe today. Teach how they recorded births. That gave us genealogy research. The the Great Flood and how that corresponds with how other tribes recorded this event. How we've think we've discovered the Ark. And how a flood would have changed forests to deserts.

When i was in elementary school (60 yrs ago) we had a hour (bi weekly I think) of time released fron class for religious education. The entire class went to a church which happened to ge across the street. Protestants went to one room, Catholic to another and Jewish to another. Some kidss parents opted out and those kids stayed in the classroom and did schoolwork. Nobody thought much about it and there were no problems. This was in Southern California.

That said, it's fascinating to me that the Bible isn't at least taught as literature in the US the way it is in England because the vast majority of writing prior to 1980 had references to core concepts, metaphors, assumptions, etc. found in the Christian Bible. No one can have a fully well-rounded English-speaking education without some level of Biblical literacy any more than you could have a comprehensive education in Arabic without a base level of the quran.

What is sickening that is really harming our children is teaching them that it is fine for a biological male to be in the girls and women’s restrooms, locker rooms, dressing rooms, etc and vice versa and to use preferred pronouns. To be honest, gender segregated restrooms and private spaces should be used by those that match their biological gender and pronouns should be by biological gender as well too. I attended Our Mother Of Mercy private school as a child. I believe this type of curriculum can be helpful for children. I also recommend educating children on law, of course in a digestible way.
