    I appreciate the authority you carry here! You see a lot of TH-camrs online giving reviews and attempting to explain what the differences are or why one juice is better than another. Actual experience and video of the different styles in action really helps understand the similarities and differences.
    Edit: and the fact that you work at a juice shop pretty much raises your perspective above many others!

    Thank you for the detailed explanation of the different types and the shelf life reasoning. It has helped me make the decision of what kind of juicer would be best for me. I definitely like to minimize the amount of dishes I have to wash and maximize my nutrients, so sounds like a masticating or cold pressed type of juicer would be best for me.

    funny thing the first jucier that I was looking at was the Kuvings Evo, but I ended up getting a Pure 2 stage cold press jucier; and the other option was the twin gear angel juicer too; but we would need to get the corse attactments and other special tools yet the clean up is a little a bit easier then the Pure and yes at the hotel I worked at we used a centrifugal jucier; it was a commercial units but if we ran it for like 10 minutes it would start to warm up and i ran it about maybe 20 minutes or even 30 and it shut off a few times and just had to wait for it to cool off

    I understand that you work or own a juice shop, but just mentioning the term "cell wall" without more clarification does not adequately convey your point in the differences of quality in the outcome of the juice. Basically Masticating simply means to grind/chew. Equivocal to finely chopping as the initial process of your "commercial press". End point the quality of your mass produced juice, is if at all minimally higher quality. Considering the quanity of produce that you purchase one could assume that the minimal quality gained is loss in that home juicing produce is hand selected by the individual, most likely the highest quality available. So please stop with unqualified opinions. You could always use the angle of convience to sell your juice. I'll give that to you fair and square, it's very "convient" to drive through and get a nice juice instead of making it yourself.

    fast and lost nutrition. I use a joyoung JYZ E9 which is basically an omega green star type of juicer. it is great and does everything including nut butter grinding etc. Joyoung is a Chinese brand that is a higher quality product with a good warranty and lots of parts. they don't leave you hanging after you buy the product wondering how your going to use your juicer when it breaks because it doesn't break. I have had my E9 for 7 years and it is still going strong. Now that is a testament to a product that does what it is supposed to do and for a price that kills. We paid around 60usd for it. compare that to others and then tell me it is garbage. been on a juice diet for 4 days now. wife juices few days but now we are juicing everyday. we also use it to make humus etc. can't say enough about it and the price, just a no brainer. they also make the stand up one like the caynel for around 30usd. now since my omega clone has lasted over 7 years already and it is made by the same company who do you think I would recommend. that being said, the 10 year warranty of the caynel is pretty impressive. I have to give you that for sure.

    Great video Lauren and thank you for the great explanation. I am looking for a juicer for my 83 year old mother (with arthritis) that is easy to clean and manipulate/assemble. What is the clean up process for Caynal? I will check out your video if included. I have a Hurom H-AA and it takes 45 minutes for me to cut ingredients, juice and clean machine..too much for early mornings before work for fresh juice. Can your say more about the nutritional benefits (pros/cons) for prepping storing ingredients in the fridge vs. doing it right before juicing? You mentioned a 3-5 days shelf life?

    • @thenightporter
      @thenightporter ปีที่แล้ว

      Could you get one of those Rubbermaid tubs made for sinks and soak the parts in it all day and then do a thorough clean at night?
      So by empty glass or plastic bottles that would be 1 or 2 servings. You can buy those at online retailers. Then, you could just make them on a Sunday afternoon, bring them to your mom and she would have a juice for every day.
      I am considering the Cuisinart Easy Clean Juicer. It is a masticating juicer (more yield and retains more nutrients than a centrifugal juicer). Several reputable sites (Food and Wine/Good Housekeeping) recommend it as an affordable and easy clean option. A channel on here ("Lou Rao") demonstrates it with an informative presentation.
      Also, don't put whole apples in. Cut out the core as the seeds are very toxic and should not be consumed on a regular basis.

    but fiber is insanely good for you,, and the molecular benefits attached themselves to the fiber witch helps your body accepts the nutrients easier,, huge reason why olives are good for you but olive oils are insanely toxic for you (all oils actually) even nuts are wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy too fatty,, only alge flax chia aLLLLLL other fats are horible for inflamations headacks acne (i have over 23 symptoms with OILS AND NUTs alone (dont even get me started with animal fat and DAIRY WORSE OF ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
    i didnt believe nuts could do that,, but my body i guess addapted and now i cant take sugars and healthier fats as i used to be able to (tho i was paranoing of having headacks and inflamations forever never knew EVEN THE BEST PB Natur was too fatty for my body,, and that headacks can appear 3 days AFTER eating fat,, thought it was like the rest of my symptoms,, in less then 10 14 hours,, morning when you wake up,, except for vegetable oils those,, are sooo toxic inflamations comes insanely fast and depression and irritability anger tireness those can be 1 or 3 hours or a day ,, and when the fkin fat gets into my veins i can hurt for,, well since i have a penis my veins are insanely small there so i can feel the pain for couple days when im realllly unlucky and the fat gets stuck at that specific spot
    I KNOW I TESTED THESE THEORIES SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MANY TIMES,, i AVOID FATS 100% before those problems happens,, only when i went fully raw no oils (tho some nuts was accepted,, doc said it was a reallly bad idea to eat as much as i did since i had a fat and sugar addiction i went for nuts and dates WITCH STILL HELPS A LOOOOt to fix my headacks,, but when i stopped eating nuts cause i restarted eating cooked beans only cooked thing i ate,, i didnt have any problems until i tried even the healthiest nuts of all wallnuts/pacans,, the omega6 ratio over 3 was still too big apparently,, had to retest this so many other times
    NO SUCH THING AS GOOD FAT, NONE (EXCEPT ALGE FLAX CHIA) ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL some less worse then others OBVIously BUT ALLLLL OTHER FATS ARE ALL TOXIC

    I would love to see you reply this one. Thank you :)

      Nut Grower nutritional value. Less digestive time giving the body more energy and time to repair and regenerate whilst still providing nutrients for the body. There’s also the spiritual aspect...
