I actually love that you always suggest we find local counsel. It shows this is more genuinely to help people, not just a way to advertise your firm. Its that genuine vibe that makes people want to hire you. Channels that end every video with, "you should contact my firm" immediately lose my trust and interest in what they have to say. Even well produced or over produced channels make me feel like they are just telling the audience what they want to hear. I appreciate your 'off the cuff' approach, and you should be proud that its attracting clients. Thank you for your (not legal) advice lol

If a potential client says something that doesn't appear to make sense, while discussing what their employer did, that does not mean the client is lying. Companies do illegal things to their employees every day. I've seen it many times. The company is much larger and usually has far more money than any individual employee. So the company basically does whatever it wants, regardless of the law, and deals with the fallout later. The majority of wronged (terminated) employees will take a severance of a few thousand dollars because they are in a position of financial weakness. A severance offer is essentially litigation insurance that dismisses all of the bad stuff the employer did.

I'm not saying companies don't lie, not at all. Just that there are clients who will lie even to their attorney and when they do that, it's really hard to create a good case, because the facts you asserted in the complaint or in deposition or disclosure end up being used against you, "So, in fact, you lied to the Court when you testified that you didn't create that document? But this Court should still believe that everything ELSE you are saying remains the God's honest truth, right?" Doesn't sound great, does it.

but if your honest, nobody would want to take your case. its hard as it is for an attorney to take your case even with good prove.

Vince: "I just want you to get a better deal"...
Me: I've looked at my attorney through your firm and your law track record on cases in the public docket perception through (mines private docket) and you guys blew it out of the park when comparing local attorneys and had 5 star ratings from all your clients. I don't regret my $5k retainer fee and high contingency fee % for a HIGH Quality attorney to negotiate a great deal or outcome in your case. Money well spent so far in this ongoing process! ❤💪🤙

Is 20% attorney fee good in a upfront 4000 retainer fee and if we take it to trial is 25%
On a discrimination, sex harassment and retaliation case. I have my right to sue letter from the EEOC. How much u think this case worth?

It doesn't work like that... If you go to big leagues State & federal courts it will appear on background checks whereas going through a state agency is in private docket. Fed/state court is like $15 k up front (before the contingency % fee) if you're going to a big firmlike others, but also varies by location and the firm. No, a 20-25% is below average mines double but you also get what you pay for and I don't regret their high fees for their great services. Can't say much more as I've signed agreements on the stuff and retainer but it's definitely a d worth the money when you've got a great attorney like I do.

Hi. I'll be starting a TH-cam channel but it's going to be less directly about law and more about the strange reality we live in overall. But thanks, Vince! I do look forward to being on your channel. Your advice is very sound, I think.
