In his defense, he's been able to run a makeshift lab out of his bedroom in his aunts house without any of that nonsense Bobby installed.
It's like being The Flash and and buying expensive cars, a waste of money.
So in the actual show, the computer was just _there_ without explanation as something studio-mandated for the superhero team. However, the viewers kept asking and it was explained in the third season (in "Origin of the Spider-Friends") how the team got together _and_ how their crime-fighting computer was a gift from Tony Stark after they helped him with something.
What goes into installing an elaborate fold-out system of computers into the walls and floor of an _apartment,_ I'm not sure.

I love how, instead of doing the easy and funny joke of pointing out that the monster is destroying a city while being offended by Spider-man, Peter just threatens to actually kill the monster. Just a plain old death threat.
Everyone talks about how mich superman holds back, but Peter never killed anyone, despite having the pure strength to stop a speeding truck.

How, exactly? Shoot webs at a fire monster? I think Firestorm could fight fire with fire and Ice Man would counteract any additional fire from the monster. Spider could only work the periphery trying to limit collateral damages.

I would just walk away and pretend I saw nothing as that is the only way to stay safe in the Marvel and DC universes as you don't mess with the secret identities of the people with super powers and expect to get out unscathed. You know when you think about it there are probably quite a few randoms that know the secret identities of heroes and villains and just stay silent as they don't want to get splattered all over a wall.

The bonkers part is the fact that all of that stuff would be detectable through the walls. Imagine someone working next door and hit a wall only to find they've also smashed what appears to be millions worth of tech

Watching this again I just realized it's Spider-man pulling the lever to open up all the secret gadgets, hell's he doing acting like he never knew about any of that stuff they installed

Happily watching again and again and again, this characterization of Peter somehow perfectly fits
2:00 I like how enthusiastic spiderman was about things working out alright before ice man threw ice shards all over the place and fire woman most likely burned the floor and triggered the alarm. Also, I'm pretty sure the apartment owners/owner will now be inspecting the room to see what caused the fire with some technician. In any case this parody is actually a good reason as to why spiderman likes working alone. He only went with Shield agency and stuff cuz they are reliable and well organised.

I remember loving this show as a kid
I was so little and I loved tuning in to this. I seem to remember The Tarzan/Lone Ranger Adventure Hour
I watched this show on Disney xd when I was younger.
I caught the show when it first aired, and I loved it. Last year, I noticed that the '81 Spider-Man show that preceded it was on Disney+, and I didn't remember seeing that one. Sat down and watched it.
It doesn't have the animation budget of Amazing Friends, but it is buck wild. I think it might be my third favorite in the franchise, after Spectacular, and Fox's Spider-Man.
Spider-Man and Friends but Peter realizes how fucking insane his situation is.
So, at the end Iceman fills the room with chunks of ice melting into huge puddles on the carpet and Firestar releases a burst of heat that will scorch everything in a large radius. They are definitely getting evicted and NOT getting their security deposit back.

My mind immediately went to Iceman and Firestar's transformations, where Iceman encases himself in a block of ice and shatters it, throwing ice chunks everywhere, and Firestar (as far as I can tell) superheats and generates a ball of fire, no doubt creating a tremendous amount of heat in the immediate area.
Really glad to hear that got addressed with Peter's "Oh my god!" scream at the end

@@nathanielbass771 Iceman's definitely wearing his underwear, he gets his hoarfrost melted off several times in the show. Which is weird, because I don't _think_ he has to go get new clothes when he transforms back normally on the show, yet he winds up in his underpants when someone else melts him. I don't think Firestar's costume is ever explained; it's just a thing she does like a Sentai Hero or Magical Girl

My favorite part is when Peter hysterically yells out, presumably to himself "what does it even do?!" but then Iceman starts stammering, and Peter repeats the question to Iceman with a voice full of RAGE, CONFUSION and UTTER DISBELIEF that Iceman lied to Peter and cheated out of paying rent just to install some mad scientist on cocaine lookin-ass technology in his apartment, and he doesn't even know what it fucking DOES. 10/10 delivery.

This is the Spider-Man I grew up on. I was always very confused when nobody else knew who Iceman and Firestar were. Firestar was my favourite hero since she was a girl, could fly, and had awesome fire powers

(correct me if I’m wrong) Iceman was a mutant that could turn his body to ice, and make icy paths kinda like Frozone. Firestar was a mutant who could fly and wield fire.
