I grew up around Bhure. From what was my childhood bedroom, I could see the trains leaving Bhure Ave., from far off. Depending how the window lit up at night, you could tell if it was a R62 or a R33/36. (Early 90s) thanks for the vid!

Thank you for posting this! This is one great video that captured the scenery of the elevated six (6) line using R62A cars. Great views! Definitely an enjoyable ride to watch virtually! Great work. I wonder why they stopped express service between parkchester and Pelham Bay Park?
I'm a train madLondoner that knows just about everything about our subway. I'm now enjoying videos of the NY subway and getting familiar with the lines. I'm getting familiar with the 6 line Pelham Bay Park to Brooklynn Bridge, and the 7 Flushing to Hudson Yards. I'm impressed with his clean the system is compared to how we used to see it on newsreel and in films on the 70's and 80's. What are the blue tunnel lights? We ring have blue in London, just red, green and amber.

Yes the r62as are back on the Pelham line Right now until further notice they had been talking about the Flushing line getting Cbtcs so they had a contact about the r188s on the Flushing line r62as back on the Pelham line However the brand new r262s will be coming real soon for Cbtcs on the Lexington Avenue line 4/5/6 trains
@@josecontreras8468 the R62as will retire in four more years so start appreciateing the R62as on the Pelham line now we will be seeing mix epipment on the Pelham line R262s r142/as real soon
@@chillboi4171 the R62/As never ran on the 2/5 because the 2/5 can't have R62/As because since the 2/5 share a fleet they need to switch quickly before terminating at Flatbush ave because the 2/5 switch at Flatbush ave also it's a pain to scroll on the R62/As on the 2/5 causing service delays on the 2/5 not only Brooklyn but on the Bronx as well The R62/As could be on the 2 NOT on the 5 if they don't share a fleet

The R62A 6 Train From Brooklyn bridge to Pelham Bay Park
Does anyone know how long will it be before the R62As go bye bye permanently from the 6, where they will end up, and what they'll be replaced by?
Kevin B I think they will start delivering the r262s probably in the next 4, 5 or 6 years but I would love to see a 50--50 swap of the 6 and 4
The r262s50% 50%r142/as will be replacing all r62as on the Pelham line for. CBTCS in the future
