The 1st time my friend came to visit me in the country in her electric car, she had to get out of her car a shoo the chickens and ducks out of the road. They would move quickly for a regular car, but they couldn't understand why they had to move when this didn't have any car sound at all! She still has to get out each time and move them.
39 years and I still haven't figured out how to pack light. I hope you and Charlie have a great trip.

Josie!! I’m unsure if you know this but if you keep the green onion root in the soil and only cut from above the root you can regrow the onion instead of pulling the root out & having to replant xx
A packing tip! I find that rolling my clothes instead of folding flat helps me get a lot more in and my clothes travel better ie less crumpled at destination.

Josie- love your content and you are one of my favorites. Small request though, please turn down volume of the music when included in your b-roll. When you are talking volume is fine though then whenever just music comes on, the volume increases 10 fold and is very jarring (especially since I control my A/V through Sonos app).

Oh packing, it was game changer when I got those zipped pouches for clothes & accessories. You can fit so much in them in then it’s really easy to close your suitcase. I’d never go back without them!

You can leave the kale until it snows basically. Other good winter crops are Brussel sprouts and cabbages. They all do GREAT in colder weather and will produce until its very cold.
Isn't it wonderful to be able to eat dinner from your garden, with the exception of bread and meat if you choose? In the first garden I ever grew I made the mistake of planting 70 tomato plants because I wanted to make dips. OMG! 70! What a laugh my dad had! Quite the surprise!

I have been so set on buying an electric car as my first car! Especially in London where fast chargers are all over the place and you’re never driving more than 50 miles a pop.

Apparently sun damage on the cheeks is from the sun coming in car windows as we drive along!

Wonderful all that lavender at the cottage. Seeing how open the lavender is, you better harvest it soon before it loses its seeds. Plenty of TH-cam vids instructing on how to best do it. You then will enjoy the fragrance for a long time. Happy harvesting!

The field is full of blue linen plants. Also, please do not take this as negative thing, but the pasta is pronounced: ore-kie-tte. It means little ears, because of the shape. I spent a holiday in Puglia and we were told by the locals. :)

Josie I hope you do get an electric car eventually. It's super easy to drive and a lot more eco friendly like you said. I wasn't so keen when my partner said to get an electric car but now I'm totally sold. Finding a charging spot in the country side van be of a challenge but you can easily charge it from your home. Plug it in overnight and your car is charged. You can also have a look at other brands like Hyundai, it has all the features in the one you are testing and also lane assist and longer range. And much cheaper than most European brands.

If you are looking for an all electric I would hunt around for ones with good range - there are some on the market that do almost 300 miles on a charge and new ones are coming out end of the year that do over 300.
Try a clove of garlic in your salad dressing, tastes amazing.x 😋
Girl I live in the USA in the south of lousiana.. we have a “heat wave” 24/7 🥲🥲
Starting in about March and ending in about October, then we only have a month of cool weather and a month or 2 of “cold” weather (doesn’t snow here). It’s SO HUMID especially in the summer when it’s 38° C.. it’s miserable. And don’t get me started on hurricane season, the horrible flooding my state gets every year! It’s already started and we’ve had a massive influx of rain lately, but for the next 2 months we will probably be getting hit by some hurricanes and more rain.. it’s the worst and weather effects our moods so much! No wonder everyone here is bipolar 😂😂
