FAST Montgomery Vector Hydraulic Elevator @ Streets of Woodfield Parking East - Schaumburg, IL

- (6-27-20) These are some awesome Montgomery Vector elevators that I remember riding as a kid. Sadly, all the call buttons were replaced with Dewhurst, but the car panel remains original! I at first thought these were traction based on how fast they were, but turns out they are hydraulic!!!

I love how Vector placed the buttons horizontally as opposed to being in a vertical line from bottom to top. That logo seems quite unique.
I've only ever seen them horizontally.

These are in damn good shape, considering that they're Vectors in a parking garage
Yeah I'm super surprised at how nice these are. I've seen vectors in a private parking garage where the panels are totally destroyed, yet these are in a more public place and they are in this good of shape.
I love the vacuum fluorescent display floor position indicator in the elevator

Jowevator 3219 Vector is kinda boring in my opinion now but that’s because I see it so often lol
I mean, I live in Champaign, IL. Vectors are very common in the Midwest. Going by Champaign-Urbana There are Vectors in (I think)3 different locations.

I've never seen that logo before.
My first real elevator experience was in a vector. I was 2 1/2. Riding the elevator as a baby while exiting the hospital doesn't count because I was wrapped up and I couldn't press buttons. I wasn't supposed to touch anything because I was born 3 months premature and getting sick would have been deadly.
So, vector buttons are pretty special to me.

Yeah, it could've been scenic just like the elevators at Petaluma Park, which could've also been made scenic.

I am glad the inside is still original. And on the outside Dewhurst which is still very nice because it is rare. Those Dewhurst buttons look very nice on elevators in Roblox as well. I am still glad there are still some Vectors left.
