A notice about Donatello. If you take a flat hand from the set and put it in the Fugitoid gun from the upper side it will suit perfectly and it's gonna be a really nice look, like from the issue devoted to Jack Kirby. I tried it myself and it really works!

I need that 4 pack. I’ve found every other of the new releases. Splinter, Foot Soldier, BD Shredder, Bugman & Electrozapper, Casey Jones and Foot Soldier, April O’Neil and Colossus Of The Swamp. Hopefully the 4 packs will hit here.
As an original Mirage era reader, I highly recommend checking out the guest era TMNT issues. There's quite a few that I thought were better written than the E/L issues.
My personal picks: #24-26 "The River" by Rick Veitch, #28 "Sons of the Silent Age" by Mike Dooney, #31,34,35 Michael Zueli's "Souls Winter", #37 "The Ring" + #42 "Juliet's Revenge" by Anderson & McCollum.
#42 actually features Renet as the new Mistress of Time, suceeding Lord Simultaneous.

I bought the Ultimate Collection books and the Omnibus. The Tmnt 'Works' is my favorite because their colored but vol 4 and 5 are way too expensive

once the 4 pack starts showing up it’s over for me
Shredder was initially wearing red with no sleeves
Later on, his clone had worn sleeves (although not shown on covers when he fights casey jones he's clearly with sleeves)
Presumably to cover up the marks the worm clone process gave him as seen in the return to new york arc which usually appeared as red also
But when color classics came out both shredder's were given sleeves and made blue
Personally though I like mirage shredder to be red with no sleeves and his clone to be the blue sleeved one with the red eyes

sweet looking figures my favorite is tied between splinter and Casey jones i love the mini turtles and splinter with the ooze container

great video man! its awesome to see the figures compared with the comic book pages. If you get more mirage figures, try to make an updated video. I personally like the 2008 version of the turtles better, so I bought the KO versions from Ali Express.

I get if you go by the VHS style ultimate's currently being usually $36.99/37.99, it all adds up. But with these not being ultimates, and being stripped down bare-boned figures (that share most all the same parts), you think if anything for a set like this, it would cost twice the amount of a standard 2-pack. Even with those, you get a lot more, and two sets of 'em would be no more than $120 (typically).
The disguise 4-pack is packed to the gills, and was $125. Then not long after the stylized coloured ones that were stripped down versions cost $150. Just a lot of inconsistencies with all that. Regardless, I'm still beyond happy and grateful to have gotten these at retail cost on Target's site.
I did notice the price creep happening on the 4 Packs, but I think I got too used to it. You're definitely right on the prices

I'm confused as to the real color of Shredder. The recent Neca Target Shredder shows artwork from the first issue of TMNT and has a blue color. The SDCC Shredder 4 pack release years ago also shows artwork from the first issue but has a reddish color.
I’m not entirely sure what the color should be either. Which is part of the problem with the colorizing of the Black and White comics
From what I understand, there was a reissue of the comic by idw. They colorized the comic differently than the original coloration. So there's two different colonizations out there.

I usually buy my comics from comic stores or book stores like Barnes and Noble. There’s some online shops that are good like Cheap Graphic Novels and amazon as a last resort

One thing I'm curious about. Do you have the original comic style turtles? I'm curious if the extra hands on this new jim lawson's turtles can be used on the kevin and peter's ones.

How are people getting a hold of these so easily? I’ve been hunting each of my Targets for weeks but no dice, and they aren’t putting them in stock on the website.. (The listing is there but I haven’t seen it go in stock once)
I just happened to get lucky. I only saw it the one time I bought it. I hope neca can get more stock out cause they aren’t meeting demand at all

No way, I have both sets of turtles. The 2008 is way better than jim lawson turtles. Pixel Dan even said 2008 is his favorite set. Trevor Zammit from neca said from his last interview, he might bring the 2008 turtles back because many fans are asking for those sets.
It would be good to bring the 2008 set back out for those that want them! I’m personally happy with the Lawson set as that’s my go to mental image of the Mirage turtles
Is the turtles 4 pack an exculsive to a certain store? I can only find them sold by shady scalpers.

Doesn’t necessarily mean it’s exclusive there, since the comic figures usually aren’t, but Neca hasn’t said anything either way
FFS (!!!!!) - just when I think I'm over buying TMNT figures (and let's face it, the last few reboots have really helped in that respect), here comes the range that they should have produced BEFORE the original cartoon line - GRRRRR!!!!!!
Seriously, what an amazing line of figures. Having been a fan of the original comics just before TMNT exploded, I collected the vast majority of the original Playmates lines before losing touch in the mid nineties. A few years ago I buckled and bought the knock off set of NECA turtles (not bothered about the authenticity but, as another viewer commented, it would have been nice to get the accessories.....) and the movie range and was hoping that would be it.
The big question now is, do I add to the collection, clear out some of the fringe figures to get these (never felt any attachment to that Hotspot figure....!) or ignore these new figures and have serious regrets in a few years time???????

@@Soundout12 none - 400+ carded turtle figures boxed up in the loft but I know that they are there! And who knows, I could move to a mansion (or a warehouse) one of these days......

Which they refuse to resell the 08 figures which is a lame excuse why we cant get a hold of the authenic figures but chinese bootlegs without the accessories such as the build your own street diorama the baby turtles the shuriken the lamp post hydrant and climbing claws or extra features the mondo figs have like weapons storage the option ln to have the belts the jim lawson figures got or leo having a one katana sheath belt or Michaelangelo gripping hands to hold his nunchaku in his signature poses in between his fingers like raph

@@Soundout12 they keep milking the 87 cartoon and live action movie trilogy over over again in different recolors like the arcade games turtles in time the og arcade, the cell art animation colors with every body who appeared in the 87 show ( neca*), the playmates toys colors and every toy that was in the playmates toy line minus karia ( super 7*) , the promotional art colors (super 7 s.h. figuarts and loyal subjects neca*) and their grandma has already done nobody wants to touch the all red mask mirage comics tmnt or 2003 figures designs and if they do their too lazy to come up with decent new sculpts and just recolor the 87 cartoon figs like (playmates and loyal subjects*) are over priced and are at a limited time offer only like (mondo*) attempt which has poor quality control fragile pieces and the heads and arms fall off or hard to put on because their a t-shirt company not a toy manufacturer. Necas Mirage tmnt line has no identity as of late and puts their figures in lootcrates auto T NFT crap hualathon or sddc scalpper windows where you cant complete your collection cause its locked behind some exclusive limited time offer shit and they use the idw color classics reprint colors, rather than the colors from the mirage covers and first publishing graphic novel colors as the standard figures which is annoying.
@@Soundout12 you can't even get individual red shredder they give you idw blue shredder you can't get regular claw shredder because he's locked behind lootcrate they give you a silhouette claw shredder the four arm and mini shredder in blue pruple and red outlines you can't even get blue renet cause she's locked behind auto T with black and white shredder and foot ninja now they give us blue foot ninja and foot enforcer than the standard grey red and brown foot solder and foot elite that came with the mirage foot pack and shredder is resold twice as blue with one locked behind lootcrate and the other battle damaged and not the regular red shredder from the foot pack we have yet to see mirage baxter stockman or get a red shirt casey jones
