The Fjordur Series is a Syntac Adventure on the new Nordic map in ARK Survival Evolved. You can get a better gigs saddle and kill it with 1 giga I got my giga saddles from sky lord cave. I can do beyal and steinbjorn back to back with 1 giga but gotta heal before having and skoll.

fun fact that i tried out myself, an otter with lots of damage (mutations if possible) can actually give you enough resistance to survive in jotunheim without even fur, my otter has helped me a lot when i try to get some more yutys

Losing the Fjordhawk happened to me twice also, this was a week ago and still no death message for either of them. I'm now using trackers in every single one of them so I don't have to play hide and seek across 3 realms for a bird the size of your head.
How do you do that? I’ve lost so many
I want to say the hawk is in the same place on the map as the bed you spawned on just on the realm you came from.

Mostly it is straight up in the sky or he leaved it on follow and its flyed around - best to simply spawn in closed rooms
well, Mine disappeared along with my items, apparently you have a fixed amount of time to respawn otherwise RIP items
I love how the hardest world boss is the relic required for the easiest island boss
Steinjborn is not hard, you just need 2 or 3 imprinted gigas or a velo
But yeah beyla is easier, because it doesn't require 2 gigas, just one

,I actually used 2 gigas ,the one I was riding had 1/4 health and the other giga had 2/4 I mean half health remaining
Against beyla I just used a super mutated theri with a mastercraft saddle
Steinjborn and hati/skoll are both harder than beyla, I feel like they should buff beyla a bit

Its actually easy if you use the right creature,if you use thyla or rexes or allos then its very hard, if you use 3 imprinted and levelled gigas then its easy
And I am actually playing in a private server with same settings as syntac (sp settings off)
5 giga are not needed, 2 or 3 are enough
@@AdamGamingARK I understand now but still all I was saying is it’s the hardest boss out of the 3 world bosses and you need to kill it to fight the megapithecus which is the easiest out of the 3
For those who lose their fjordhawk, whistle it to follow you. When my other half and I play there are times I can see his after traveling but it is invisible to him. After I whistle it to follow and it moves it is visible to him again. Hope this helps.

Yo I accidentally threw my hawk it flew straight hit a 90° turn then flew like 80 yards turned and hid under a metal spawn on asgard
I remember that with wyvern back in the day on official, was awful couldn't imagine it with a tiny little bird

I 'm not sure I mentioned it in my post about beating stein, but I have Ascendant saddles (125 armour) for my gigas I use on Stein, and Hati n Skoll. Their stats are 51K health and 479 melee. Always try and have 100 or up saddles for the bosses. I just had my arse handed to me by the Alpha Brood, and I was using my megatherium(131 armour, 20k health and 700dam, same ones I beat the island with) x19 and an x-yuti. The Alpha Brood was doing like 700 -- 1000+ damage per hit (seems stronger than island), got her down to about 1/3 health, I think a daedon will help alot here, or maybe I'll just use shadowmanes as theyre used in some vids. I'm kinda glad for the challenge though, we just need to use all the tactics we can ;) gonna try again today :)

I don't post anywhere much, but I want to thank you for all the meticulous ( mostly ) work you put into your content :) btw , I have 6.5 k in pc ARK and a couple k hours in ps4 ark, but no way I could reach anywhere near your proficency ( excuse all the words, I know you dislike them lol )

Just thought of this because you mentioned manas but Fenrir actually has 3 names in Norse Mythology that being of course Fenrir, Fenrirsülfr (who is the final boss) and Managarmr. Meaning that all versions of Fenrir are in game as different creatures

Here’s my theory, your fjordhawk is still in Jotunheim where you let yourself die, i believe this is true because Jotunheim counts as a cave, and isn’t loaded unless you’re in it, so when you spawned you unloaded Jotunheim and thus your fjordhawk
Your fjordhawk is not gone. Log out and back in. He'll be there. It's some visual bug.
You should try using x-rock elemental against this boss, 3 of them can deal a lot of dmg and take a lot of hits from this boss.
I used a rex with an ascendent saddle as a bait against Steinbjorn and then bit it with the giga. Worked pretty well.

Check the sky border for your Hawk. If you teleport desmodus while they are latched, the latch themself on there...I guess that's where he is...
Its prounounced St-ei(like ay in may)-n-bj(j is like y)-ö(ö is like the u in under)-r(rolled r)-n. Stein is almost exactly like the american prounounciaton of the word stain. Björn is bee-urn.
Something that I have noticed about the Desmodous latching when you just want to land. If you sprint (shift+move on PC) into the ground (or wherever you want to land) instead of hitting spacebar to land, you will always land properly and not latch and flip upside down into the mesh.

A Velonasaur is the best way to take out rocky balboa. And the only bleed Dino that works on any boss is the deinonichys

Your fur armor is just above whats needed for that area to keep you warm, at least from my experience.
My first fight against Steinbjorn, he ate 2 rexes, 16 Deino's, 2 tek stegos, and almost ate my pig. Never making that mistake again
the reason the soulgun wasn't picking everything up after the fight is because it will only loot bags until your player is at 80% of their overall weight and wont let you pick up anymore. This is to make it so you don't instantly get 2k pounds or something put in your inventory for you to have to drop
random fact: in the description of narcotics it says it has a healing factor when used but doesn't actually heal you unless you convert them into medical brews.
if you go into K mode, an double backspace, you get ur hud in k mode, an its so handy for building in my op
when you fight the final boss, the Fenrir don't go in yourself send your tames in and stay back because it can dismount you and freeze your tame to where you can't get back on

I've been using one single jacked up Velonesaur on that ledge and nothing else. Lol
Be careful though, if you get hit by the ranged attack in the right way while up there it WILL knock you off. Lol I barely survived when it happened to me

I took my desmodus in Steinbjorn he hit me through the bottom of the map, and when I flew up to the ceiling he regened his health back lol. lost my dinos but came back with 4 gigas all 150 with around 200 melee with decent saddles plus a yuti killed him really quick. I used the gigas on the other 2 bosses and only hati and skoll almost killed them. Awesome video, your hawk's probably really high in the sky or might be back in jotunheim.
The tek Rex on the volcano is cool
carrying an otter in Jötunheimr is way easier than farming milk to stay warm

When me and my friends played, we slapped a platform on a creature with a bunch of refrigerators to survive the cold XD We did not stay very long on the cold world, just grabbed a fenrir and left XD

That velanosaur trick also works for asgard boss fight there is little cliff behind that summon spot
You can find the little element shards in the Magmasaur cave, pretty easy to harvest

Sometimes Fjord Hawks will, for some reason, fly up to the sky box. I've had to take my desmodus to get one back

Rex army won't work. I've tried with 18x bred/leveled rexes that crushed Beyla and Hati/Skol and they barely touched Steinbjorn.
