Véronique Gens as Donna Elvira - Mi tradi quell'alma ingrata

Quite a contrasted night I'd say, but the one totally brilliant performance was Gens'. She just has so much charisma and god how she sings Mozart! Totally loved her :)

She doesn't sound to me very confortable with the difficulties of the aria, and she seems to hide those difficulties with expression inflections of doubtful taste...

Sa voix est trop aride et faible… Parfois je n’entends que l'orchestre.
