Dan is built the way I was as a teenager when I DID weigh 155 lbs back before I finished filling out - around 19 or so my structure got broader and my natural weight went from 155 to 185 to 195 even when I barely ate anything. I once went 2 weeks without eating *anything* - literally nothing - and you could see my ribs by the end of it - I was experimenting to see how long I could go and still function - and even with my ribs showing and me looking REALLY thin for my build, I weighed just a tiny bit under 180 lbs - so that's the lightest I can realistically get and it required going 2 weeks without food to the point I nearly passed out from standing up! @@Wandervenn More weight makes a MASSIVE difference - when I was 180, 185 lbs I could do 20 chin-ups in a row, sometimes 25 - now with more muscle on at 210-225, every single pull-up or chin-up means it's like having an extra 25 to 40 lbs strapped to my body - so I get wiped out by 15 even though I'm technically *stronger* than I was then. Yeah...you're right that Dan being much lighter makes a big difference, though in fairness if anything, Arin has clearly *lost* weight due to his training - he was way chunkier earlier! He was over 220, I'm betting now he's like 205 or so. The two naturally have very different builds - Dan's bone structure is much smaller too, so it's not just a fitness thing but a genetic thing. But yeah, I can lift Dan's entire bodyweight over my head, but pulling MY body around is harder since I'm way heavier. If I weighed as little as Dan but had the same upper body strength I do now, I'd probably be able to do 40+ chinups, no problem!
For some reason the instructor completely ignoring Arin's goat mermaid comments is so funny to me. They may have just edited out her response, but the immediate cut to her just moving on with no acknowledgment was great.

My heart sank when the silk ripped 😟 shout out to Aloisha for keeping cool, as an instructor I would burst into tears lmao
I’m sure they paid to replace it! But… while I’ve never done aerial silks I am a costume designer and a whole belt and jeans while sliding along what looks like what, 40 or 50 denier material is just… absolutely not.
Pretty sure those silks cost hundreds too. Very unfortunate.
I cringed so hard im so sure they paid to replace it but second hand embarrassment is what i felt 😅
@@anitachamberlain3391 they are!! 😭 i looked up the silk rope and it’s at least 110$ (rounded up)
Man I was totally waiting for Ethan to join in like he usually does with these videos. I always love seeing him so his stunts
I knoooow! Honestly the only thing this video was missing.
maybe it's in the patreon
He actually did gymnastics as a child, right? I think he would have probably showed them up lol.
Is this the Ethan from Crankgameplays?
@@morutemacherry3433 yep! He’s their camera guy!
Instructor: head up, head up
Dan: *all the blood rushing to his head*My head is up, it’s just the hair😂
The air puff sending Dan's hair when he says "perfect dismount" after falling is so amazing
My favorite part 😂
4:42 lol
9:46
It's so interesting to watch them do a few and think "oh my god I'm doing it!" And then panic because they got excited. You can get all if that with no words
The fact we went from Arin doing relatively well with juggling right before Dan doesn't, which transitions into an immediate improvement of Arin's juggling makes me realize how incredibly fast his brain can be if presented with the information his brain can process
Edit: I'm so glad for more ten minute power hour but I can't help to rewatch every one of these episodes when one airs
10:44 "I don't believe you😅"
I spat out my dinner😂😂😂😂
REEE MY HEART WATCHING ARIN GETTING TO FLY THAT WAS SO SWEET OF HER 😭😭😭😭 she was amazing im so glad they had fun 🥺❤️❤️❤️
2:35 Arin being called a sexy chimpanzee is now the highlight of my year😂
Film crew to the cirque set : just so you know , Dan's a furry , also please say booty and tushie and other silly juvenile references to one's posterior as MUCH as possible, I'm sorry for your time
I like this comment, but I refuse to be the 70th like that breaks the chain.
That was the most genuine "oh no..." I've ever heard from an instructor.
@8:44 good job snapping this poor woman's hand off, Arin! she only needs that for acrobatics and juggling every day
"You know I'm a Capricorn... so I have like the grace of a mermaid, and then like the BAAAH of a goat."
This episode is alarmingly quotable, and I love it.
Did I physically clap for Arin every time he did something scary? Hell yeah I did, what a good little circus boy.
Their instructor is giving the same energy as a sweet 2nd grade teacher
nothing funnier than the instructor helping arin out and then seeing dan fully upside down going IM DOING IT!!!! 😃
First all, props to the grumps for such an amazing core intensive episode. Secondly, the teacher is so amazing, patient, and the right amount of firmness to teach amateurs. Such a great episode
I love how the instructor wasn't sure how to respond to their comedy at first then broke out cackling at their first attempt at pair juggling
y'all were born to be in circle solay 🎪
The algorithm itself has spoken.
Oh hello TH-cam!
Bro watched the first 5 seconds

@@Kurusua It'll get stuck at 301 for a while
My favorite part of these kinds of 10 MPH are the normal people who have to deal with our boys' shenanigans 😆
I feel Arin on a spiritual level in this episode. The want for the physical achievement is there but God is it nerve wrecking
“Please don’t spit on me” made me laugh harder than anything else
6:50 "We can always start with balls..." Arin Hanson 2023
Just Dan flopping down on the mat when he finished a thing, I felt that.
9:00 is the best game grump moment in a while. Im crying so much I had to clean my glasses.
Out of context quote from Dan, “My balls keep hitting together.” 8:34 😂
"We're going to do something you've probably done as a child" Arin: "Acid" Instructor: 🤔
Had me laughing
11:29 Dan: i need the power of my theme song
*sings to himself under breath* I have a brand new pair of roller-skates, you've got a brand new keEyyy~
Giggling like crazy but simultaneously super proud of and happy for them. As a heavier person, i feel arin’s struggle with the flips. Even when you are currently in good enough shape to do so, your brain still just doesn’t trust your body to be able to do that. You just think, i’m not small enough to flip/fly/etc. It’s a mental struggle.
