I've noticed one solid thing about Dan. When it comes to things involving food Dan is out. Outside of that Dan is often pretty solidly down for giving something a shot.
As someone also with OCD, I think that it plays a big role in deciding the food stuff for him. I'm what many would consider a pretty picky eater, but most of that is because I have a big issue with textures and mixing certain things together. Case and point: I haven't even watched any of their food stuff because I know it will set me off. I've just kind of suspected he has similar issues since I recall him mentioning that he eats each part of a sandwich separately.

Yeah, EDS caused nerve damage and arthritis here. Like.... yeah this is daily life. You get used to it, unfortunately. But you don't really want people to understand cause that means they've experienced it too.
the only part that's missing is bursting into tears because you dropped a pen or becoming homicidal over the most minor inconvenience most of the very few times in my life I've been genuinely furious were when I was on my period (but I'm on the pill now because I kept losing too much blood and passing out)

what KILLS me is that when dan's simulating period cramps he IMMEDIATELY goes into the brace-against-table position that every uterus owner does LMAO it's truly a nature over nurture moment

This just goes to show how genuine and humble he is; he really seems like such a chill, laid-back person and I love it

@@farkbett699it 100% exists, but the dissagreement is about whether it's caused by women's choice of job or by sexism pushing them out of higher paying jobs and into "female codes" jobs like serving tables and teaching etc
It does exist, but the claim that it exists only due to a persons sex is simply wrong. Sex is one of many factors including age, interests, personality and occupation. By those accounts, women do get the short end of the stick.
