I know that not every comment is positive but so many comments on this episode are so positive, it’s really heartwarming. I remember when I could never look at comments on the main channel because many were straight up vicious. Granted, that was a long time ago and I think most of those people don’t watch anymore, but still, really happy that so much of the community has come together this way.

also gotta say i love the more and more common trend of queens keeping their facial hair. i feel like drag queens are often a great marker of what we consider stereotypically feminine, and over time we see them change to reflect broadening gender ideals and new images of femininity. queens are often genderqueer identifying themselves and i love seeing them open up the artform to new kinds of expression.
