Something else to note: the capture of KSXE-LD I got was a 1:1 capture of the MPEG Transport Stream DTV uses. Once your TV does overscan, that message would probably disappear completely (or at least enough to not be readable). It's definitely the slowest one I've seen so far, and I imagine the *heavy* compression used on their Scripps News, QVC, and SBN subchannels would make it unreadable. Also, I'm probably going to have to double-check the FCC's documentation on TV EAS. Doesn't seem like it should be legal to do a crawl-only message because of accessibility reasons.
At 0:24, it says BOOP BOOP BOOP! And the ticker on the left says EAS

Thats what ive been thinking so many tv stations had no audio
That news anchor lied. I got the WEA, like, three times
I got mine in both English and Spanish
People in doña ana county, new mexico got the same alert three times because the office of emergency management relayed the fema test twice.
Every test has its failures, and the National Tests are the most prone to failures!
This eas failed alot because for whatever reason the stations didnt play the sound.
