Trump defunded the parks and put people in charge of organizations that see the environment as nothing more than a means to make a quick buck. The numbers of this sheep has halved to less than 18,000 in a 25 year period.
Then there is bear hunting in Alaska and there about. Polar bears are being shot and they too are in dwindling numbers.
In 2008 the US Department of the Interior classified polar bears as endangered.
