Guys...maybe you forgot to put that check needle under the accelerator nozzle for the primary and/or the secondary squirt side. See if this helps. I did that once o a Ford Econ truck.
I love those fender well headers...but I don't like the idea of the weight being put on the header bolts, hence, the idea that these bolts can pull out of the aluminum bolt holes. I have found that the threads weaken over time and will loosen causing "catastrophic failure" if you know what I mean? Try using a good set of cast iron heads for that job. Maybe this is true, but i have never tried to hang headers with small mufflers without some sort of support for the weight. I hope this help with your next build? Just a sort of suggestion in your mind engineering build. See ya!
You guys know alot about cars but you just did something you never do you forced the transmission into the pilot bearing that's a no no your going to spin the clutch and round out the pilot bearing that car is not going to run long
