Scanning Electrochemical Microscopy (SECM) is the most popular technique in the scanning probe electrochemistry family. SECM is used to locally map the activity, impedance, or even the topography the sample of interest. In this video we introduce the SECM technique, covering its background, principles, implementation on the M470, and results from a simple test experiment.
