    This video was fantastic. There is 100% a shortage of chair workouts for lower body pain, older people, mobility issues. Its doesnt frighten people, its a great way of begining exercise too. I've used it as i have had foot surgery. Im on the hunt for zero impact on my feet, but something that gets my heart rate up and i feel like I've actually 'worked out'. I hope theres another seated or floor video like this Amy. You've done so well 👏🏻💗

    I am a working Senior; I can do this video before I get ready for work. I work on call and this work out will fill in for the week that I miss going to the gym, and keep me on track instead of doing nothing for 4 days. I have been trying to figure out a fitness schedule and work on-call too. Thanks Amy, this 14Min BodyFit By Amy is perfect for someone who has been struggling for a work balance fitness routine. It has taken me 2 plus years to get back in the gym, Covid-19 was my excuse to eat, drink, watch TV, all day and maybe read book. This is my confession from a 75 year old person who loves working out and understands the importance of keeping your body strong and keeping those numbers down that your doctor goes over with you during your annual physical. I finally get it, and will continue to make an effort to pay myself 4 days of physical fitness and change or modify some of the habits I took delight in during a world wide health crisis. This is my story and I'm sticking to IT. Peace out!

    simply holding the dumb bell differently than I usually do and adding small leg lifts changes it up for me. Love this.

    I just had a total knee replacement. Very hard and slow recovery and this chair workout was doable and made me feel like I am getting some exercise, which does a lot for bringing me some hope. THANK YOU!

    This is amazing.. recently had an accident, had to operate on both feet. 5 months its been had to have a second operation but this workout has done wonders for me and kept me smiling. Just want to say a big thank you for your hard work 🙏🏼👏🏼✌️❤️

    Thank you so much. This is exactly what I was looking for. I have been dealing with chronic back and neck pain for months and the last 2 1/2 months I have been sedentary due to fear of causing more pain. Today I decided to get my life back and start exercising. I was goin g to begin with a 3lb dumbell but thanks to you I decided let me do only what I feel is safe and comfortable. Today I did no weights and only the upper body portion of your exercises. Tomorrow I will try to add the lower. And hopefuly nect week I will add a light dumbell. No rush. You are fantastic!!!!!!

    Hi ,My name is Seira Lass… I just had my Surgery for my right hip replacement done a month ago.. I think this is very good exercise for someone who not be able to standing like me to do this exercise.. I love it !!!!!     I started at 352 pounds. Due to diet and illness (and weaning off steroids for autoinflammatory issues) I have lost 65 pounds but also a lot of muscle and strength and can't really walk longer than 10 minutes because my leg muscles hurt. This is a great first step for me to improve my muscle fat ratio and I really appreciate it. I am joining a gym soon but just how tired my muscles were after this workout (without weights I might add) show me I should start with things like this. I have been exercising in spurts trying to increase my endurance, dancing for 5 minutes at a time, for example. every little bit helps and I am highly motivated. Thank you for providing a much-needed service for people like me.

    Thank you sooo much, I have fibromyalgia and my knees and back ache. I was told to work by my doctor, but I couldn't do most of the workouts I saw. Because they were to intense. This workout has got me pouring sweat, but I'm not in any pain and I can breathe! Thank you so much! I'm going to tell all my friends and family about you. And I did like and subscribe.

      Girl, I got an issue where I can barely walk a 1/4 of a mile without the joint in my 2nd toe of my right foot going berserk. It tightens and twists and is real painful, and it’s not like I can push myself. I have to stop! I have to literally rest for 2-3 minutes before I can resume walking again. It’s been an issue for the last 15 years, and I’m 105-110 lbs overweight too, which doesn’t help it. I’ve just now come across Amy’s videos, and I love how they’re low impact enough and they’re not jumping around or getting on the floor or doing any complicated moves; not even on the tabata one. I’m gonna start working out to these tomorrow! Today I’m spending the day going down the beginner workout playlist by Amy.

    Wonderful workout and totally do-able for anyone with lower body limitations like mine! (I've had one partial knee replacement, am getting ready for surgery on the other knee this spring, and trying to avoid lumbar spinal fusion.) I really liked the fact that a little bit of cardio and core work were included with the upper body exercises.

    This was perfect for me as I recover from a total hip replacement. I'm 5 weeks post op and still achy but need some beginner upper body work outs in the meantime. Even though I have been cleaning houses for a living for 14 years, I have not officially worked out in years due to all over joint issues. I want to start from scratch again and get in all over shape. Now that I can actually walk with my new hip I am ready to get back in shape.

    This was a wonderful workout for me as I seem to have developed a problem with my knee and until it gets sorted, I am reluctant to do the usual Amy standing workouts (which I love). I thought it would just be arms but she managed to get in some core and cardio so excellent all round.

    Thank you. I am unable to walk right now or do yoga so I’m tracking this onto my cycling workout. I need lots of kindness and encouragement to not overdo it. Embarrassing to start with such light weights but my dog doesn’t judge me and I can dream of a kettlebell workout. The pandemic has underlined the value of at home work outs.

    I have CFS so I'm limited in what exercise I can manage but having a seated alternative that leans into weights is really nice to have an be able to participate in without having a major crash, I plan on following this at the very least once a week, maybe twice (I know not to overdo it)

    I recently injured my toe. Accidentally dropped a 15 lb dumbbell plate on it as the screws got loose. My doctor told me it would take weeks to recover which is a huge disappointment for me. I'm really glad you made this video and now I can continue somehow.

    Great short workout. I added it on after a 2 mile treadmill walk and worked up quite a sweat with her. Love the length! Perfect for days you don't feel like moving much.

    I'm needing to do upper body strength exercises. Due to a bad fall I can not put any weight on my left foot which is in a walking cast. This was great.

    Great for beginners. I have a foot injury and thought this would be perfect….not really enough for my arms though 🙈
