(OLD) Why Diep.io Is Dying - My Last Diep.io Video

- Diep.io is dying. People are losing interest to it, both players and youtubers. This will probably be my last Diep.io video. I loved Diep.io and I'm still gonna play it time to time, but it's never gonna be the same as it was a year ago. I'm still gonna make videos on other .io games, most likely Starve.io especially.

I was a 700k overlord and everyone switched to anihilator and killed me
I rearch +850k with many tanks (Sprayer, Triplet, Pentashot), and I always lost against tiny tanks who only were shooting at one direction, as SGM said, luck based

Well i am like in 1 spot on the leaderboard i have 1M hybrid and everyone switch to like bullet spamming tanks....
Jachan Kaur Thats one thing i hate. If you get a 400k or above with any tank, its like the entire server has a grudge against you. If you get a high score with hybrid, the rest of the server is snipers. If you get a high score with overlord, the rest of the server is pentas. If you get a high score with a rammer, the rest of the server is Fighters.

JB Colombia why that is so stupid when other players dont know where is the leader. And leader can kill only noobs and some good players like u cant find the leader, and one of the best kill is suprise with destroyer (sry for my english :))

Some people may be upset when they watch this video, but I'm sure you have heard of the saying "THE TRUTH HURTS". All of us in the community will have this game forever in our hearts. R.I.P. DIEP. Ill still play but dont expect any updates from the developer. He's got a net worth of 22 million dollars. Im sure he has long forgotten and doesn't care about this game anymore. So does anyone out there who has won the lottery or is just filthy rich wanna buy this game out and revive it? LOL jk
Yeah, and there are many reasons leading diep io to decline, maybe it's only suitable for us to play together in sandbox mod now

As much as I hate the facts I'm afraid it is true. But I remember when diep.io just came out... those were the days. Everyone at my school loved diep.io until there was more.io games. I think that we should slap those developers awake and tell them who's boss (and to make more updates)

i disagree on almost all your points back when the game started out i said i will play until the "Fad" part of diep.io dissapears and only the top 1000 or so players are left and ready to battle etc. also updates are fun etc. but i feel the games fine as it is right now and the point is no its not dying the temporary fans and intermediate players are leaving and also people are witch hunting etc, because thats how it should be and you need to adapt to beat them i don't see diep.io staying for more then three years BUT i do feel the hardcore players will stay and thats fine heck ill play againts 9 other players if i have to its more about my love for the game then if its succesfull etc. so yeah
U cant adapt as a rammer to kill fighters forever, there is a limit where u cant do nothing againts the kids of this game that hunts u and are proud

change name and plow ahead also just keep a low profile for a small while then start killing i know exactly what you guys go through just on a smaller scale but the point is why drop the game just because other players know what your weaknesses now if shyguy is really over diep.io then its fine but understand if any of you made the most random of vids on diep.io we still wouldve watched it like heck im still curious how much points someone can get by being a rammer with every tank and much more but yeah

Here from some years in the future.
I went back to the game because I remembered playing it as a younger kid and just quitting after a day, and the current playerbase is just barely 2000 players. All the things you've said so far still stand, and even so, I've found it a pretty fun game and I find it sad that it had to die like this. Nevertheless, thanks for making this content.

I agree with the things you've said and maybe the developer actually quit updating diep io .
It's sad to know that diep io is dying ;( , I've tried to play diep io more frequently and make some more diep io videos, but I just can't, because there are full of random kids trying to ruin the servers and it's getting freaking lag here after the Singapore server is removed, so I've been spending much more time on playing the other games already .
With all the people's effort, diep io is getting very popular among the world, however it's slowly dying down now, will there be a chance for diep io to arise from the ashes ??
About the updates, the same thing happened to driftin.io. I played it briefly a few days ago, but it hasn't been updated in forever.
Some cool ideas to make Diep.io alive.
Added CHAT.
Added new tank "Imposter" who can take the desing of any tank if u want but first u need to kill the tank.
New bosses, one would be called "Super Spike", a Spike with max health and speed but with 0 B damage.
New playable tanks in Sandbox mode. Like Summoner, Guardian. Fallen booster or fallen overlord.
New gamemode like motheship but all tanks start with his mothership and have 1 minutes to level up. Then the arena will bet get smaller and smaller at the point to do epic wars.
Added Skins to the tanks.
Added Level on main menu "like agario" and coins to buy skins. "Some will be free to use"
That's ideas can make diep.io alive. But idk if some can be added.

Tbh all my gameplay has been just bland runs, and Dallas servers were removed and that was my main server, so I can’t really play the game anymore. Also it just gets boring once you play it enough.

I used to play diep almost every day, loved every aspect of the game. But since the Singapore servers got removed, I just had to quit (the least ping I got thereafter was 200ms at frankfurt/paris, and it was hardly tolerable).
I wont ever forget this game. No second thoughts on the fact that diep.io has been one of the best games I have played.

The problem is that the game has gotten so much more violent. I know that it has always been about killing enemies with guns, but watching old videos by masterov, from when score-based scoreboards were still new and exiting, he is perfectly content with farming, and only really shoots to scare enemies away, or if they attack him first. nowdays, you can't have anyone on your screen without them shooting at you. also, WHY THE HECK DID THEY GET RID OF MOTHERSHIP WHAT THE FLIP!?!?!
The way I see things is that this is a basic PC alternative to super smash bros. There are so many mind games, and the only way you get better is by practicing, and I love that. Overall, the game will never die so long as the servers are still running. The only real point in the video I agreed with was the sentiment that it's losing interest, and therefore it's more difficult to make content about this game. I honestly hope you end up making content you enjoy.
On a side note, your tier list was almost identical to the one Mipha and I made. //insert :ok_hand

yeah i have noticed the playercount drop heavily the last months. In June there were always 9500+ playing now there isn't even half
you're right, team modes are always full of pentashots. i almost never find a leader board in a teams mode that doesnt have at least 1 penta on it. thats why one of my favorite tanks to play is hybrid/annihilator. because they're just about the only god damn thing that can kill a penta

I think this community will accept the change to starve.io and those games. But please don't do that just because many people like it. This is your Channel and you can do what YOU want. I would like the change to starve.io, because it is very interesting to see how long you survive.

I used to make diep.io videos, and I've already changed my content. Plus, the server I go to normally was deleted, so there's pretty much no point for me to play anymore.
I've already moved to bonk.io (I'm N1GHTHAWK on bonk.io if you want to add me), and I make maps there.
