the whole situation was just not handled well, and unfortunately it caused a lot of confusion and chaos

regarding the weird prediction and voting system in the hub, getting 750 points was a walk in the park if you did 10 minutes of research and logged on mostly every day
there were plenty of different methods that basically guaranteed you every single avatar item
for the first 5 days you could see the vote counts even if you hadn't voted yet, so you could just see the highest vote number, predict, then vote, and boom easy points do that over and over
then just do the same thing but search for the vote counts online

This Roblox Inovation Awards was honestly horrible. I'm a Piggy fan, and we also had lots of issues in the horror catagorie. For one side, we had Doors fans insulting Piggy for being boring. Another side, Piggy fans insulting Doors for taking too long to update. And there was also a third front, The Mimic fans, insulting both for being non scary.
I'm honestly ashamed and disappointed at Piggy community for It's behavior and sad to see my 2 favourite games in Roblox, Piggy and Doors, insulting eachother in a rage I though it didn't exist. I hope this passes and this 2 communities can thrive once again.
Same deal with a friend of mine and Deepwoken/Blox Fruits. We went back and forth for a while because he was peeved that Deepwoken lost to BF, but he was flaming the owners of BF for "never doing anything", "not being active in the community", "not creating in depth gameplay", and "limited features". Dude just called BF poorly made. It's a lot, and I enjoy Deepwoken as well, but it takes a lot to say a lot of bad stuff about BF. It is one of the largest games on Roblox

@@5uspicious_PersonPiggy hasn't been updated in forever because I believe the creator decided to quit developing the game, except for small events and stuff like that. And I agree with doors not being that scary, compared to stuff like the mimic or that new game, pressure, it's not that bad.
Its honestly so crazy to me that the video: KJ's Final Ride, almost got 10x more views just because people that play TSBG wanted to know what the character was 😭💀
When i found out kj got added, i was really supprised because i didnt expect them to add a stick figure to a lego game

There should be a different category for each award. one goes to larger games like tsb, and smaller games. guts and blackpowder is a good game but there was no way it could stand a chance against blox fruits and tsb like why did roblox think that was fair

my brother in christ, TSB is one of the 5 largest games on this platform by player count. it got 6.6 billion visits in 5 months of being on this platform, not to mention that the discord server literally hit the count limit, someone would have to be incredibly stupid to not understand the scale of promising a free admin exclusive character (or 1.5 million robux aka 18k+ dollars character) and how much it would rig the votes

the worst part about kj is that even tho its still missing a base and ult move, the amount of effort put into the character that only 10 people can use as probably equal to 2 normal characters
Imagine doing all that, delaying your free KJ, doing all this shit to make sure your players don't get to use KJ, which they are the reason you are even on the voting. And ROBLOX, ROBLOX THEMSELVES had to make sure to you delay it even further because your bribery was so prevelant in the community it reached ROBLOX themselves. Just so you know, getting ROBLOX involved in ANYTHING means you either fucked up or your getting sued. Luckily it was the first option.

one of the biggest reasons for blox fruits losing was the fact that when they offered out sneaks as a bribe, everyone in their community - including literally everyone, was infuriated - considering the players havent received a content update for almost a year.

The whole thing was poorly done kj was delayed many times, server had gotten locked down bc of the “scam”/delay, the pools involving kj in ps or pubs only reason I say this is bad is bc of console players not being able to make private servers, and so much other things. Now people have to wait a few months for this horribly done announcement thingy majigy

This is what I hate about the “innovation” awards. Non of the games that got voted have innovated if roblox really wanted to have good games on these awards it wouldn’t be a popularity contest, you wouldn’t have the public choose what games are nominees for the event just go back to calling it the bloxy roblox isn’t fooling anyone into thinking that these awards actually breed innovation

The thing is this kj thing felt really like a way for devs too bribe people and make a lot of robux from it. As they’ve put so much time and made such good vfx for a character only 2 people could own.

Something that actually happened (sadly i lost the medal clip from it) was when i was playing tsb
devs went as far as making a global announcement to vote for KJ and even stuck us with a little message (size of the one telling you to reset to change characters) telling you to vote for tsb. this stood for about 10 minutes before finally disappearing

I feel over the past few years tds began to think all their problems would be solved just by adding a new skincrate or skin, JUST TO PUT IT IN THE DELUXE CRATE, most of their 'exclusive skins' get put in the deluxe crate no matter what, so the only true exclusive skins we have are event battlepass skins, because once those are gone, they're gone, it's a shame that tds just brought back all the 2019 Christmas skins in 2023...

I understand why they had to delay KJ's arrival.
Mostly because I believe the owner signed a Disclosure Agreement, or whatever you call it. Meaning that if he released KJ early, It could technically come over as spoiling the results at RDC.
But that doesn't solve the fact they dangled it over our heads with a stick.
Kj *was* also technically unfinished, even if he *did* release it when predictions ended, we would still be like "Oh, KJ sucks and has bad abilities" so the owner of tsb is using the time he got to wait for rdc 2024 to finish kj, The Owner also delayed Mahoraga just so he can put all his attention on kj, gotta give him props

But in terms of platform management... TSB, their Devs and their group, all exist within the Roblox platform, upheld by Roblox's rule... When Roblox directly emailed them to not do something, they better not disobey unless they want to jeopardize everything they have on the platform...
He obviously ruined the vote for everyone else and isnt strategy, the person who chooses the winners of the categorys might see what tsb did rigging the vote and making it way to unfair for the other games and just not choose them

As a TDS player, BelowNatural releases a new skin when TDS wins an award. This was present in the final Bloxys, where TDS won and we got the Bloxy Commander. This skin was obtained through an in-game code (which is extremely uncommon nowadays) and gave you no real advantage.
The thing that pissed me off the most(on top of Boros getting quietly pushed under the rug) was Santino holding a vote... After we won and going

I think this came from a fabricated content drought by the community.
There never has been that big of a "content drought" since the game became popular, but the community is so thirsty for new stuff, that they get bored WAAYY faster then theg shouldve.
Something similar happened with gojo as when the owner was seen using it, everyone went feral for him. Lots of games have dev abilities, but noncommunity reacts to it like the strongest.
So when people kept getting bored after updates came out (somehow), they frothed at the mouth at a glimpse of KJ.
If you stop and think fot a hot minute, KJ is the most impressive in terms of vfx, but not by THAT much, people just want him because they dont have him (supply and demand)
TLDR: Playerbase is spoiled, supply and demand

The playerbase isn't spoilt. It's hungry. The devs milk the game dry every month by releasing 1 -3 flashy moves for a character or two. This is incredibly unhealthy because it always leads to the player base asking for more.

I don't mind them offering a reward as big as KJ for the voting, but they shouldn't have announced it until AFTER the voting had ended. It would've been better for them and everyone else if it was more like "Hey, since we won, you guys get free KJ for a few days! Enjoy :D" instead of "Hey, if we win you guys get KJ, even longer if we win multiple times".

my only problem with SBG during innovation awards was what happened after the people’s choice award. Not getting KJ for two more months, and waiting until way last minute to announce that when it was public knowledge right before hand is crazy. i’m happy about not getting KJ, but not happy that the entire discord was server was locked because everyone was rightfully pissed of.

Why did roblox allow the kids to vite
So here is all the dramas that happened:
Horror category: doors and piggy. (People sending d34th thr34t5 to eachother like if it was WW3, i was part of this drama and people were cyberbullying me all because i liked piggy more than doors because of the lore.)
Fashion category: DTI and CAC. (On one side, the creator of DTI was like: "we promise new code!!!", and then CAC came in, which made the DTI fans call the voting rigged and unfair.)
Action/RPG category: deepwoken and no update fruits. (The blox fruits community was like: "our game is better!!!" meanwhile they don't realize the game hasn't updated since like thousands of eons.)
Fighting category, the most important: TSB and TDS. (TSB players were just begging others to vote for TSB just for this free KJ thingy, and TDS players possibly did nothing, but i think only about 61.08%, the rest was just spending their life savings on a literal eclipse goddess.)
I feel like this was the worst innovation awards to exist because of the amount of controversies.
Quite a jackass move to bribe their fans when they don't even deserve strategy, Kj can't be nerfed if they do so they'll face backlash it's just way too unbalanced for everyone to have it. It'll just become a race to ultimate, not to mention it'll would have probably still won strategy just become innovation awards being a popularity contest. I think this year was just the peak of promises, screwing with the number is a part of any vote even to the scale of the presidential election. And I think stud made a video saying it will come out in August when people choose down but I don't know, and I'm pretty sure roblox didn't directly get involved but the roblox system did because it didn't show people choose yet.
Minitoon did promise us Piggy Players a new CFC (Character-Focused Chapter) if it won Best Horror. But after the voting, Minitoon started doing his usual spheal of teasing a new chapter with emojis.
