There’s so much room available for Liverpool to reroute the road & expand Kop. It’s clearly there & possible.
Yeah don’t think the roads much of an issue, more the church that’s behind the stand
That's new steel going in mate. It looks like they are going to put the camera platform further back so there's no view restrictions for the fans in the new seats behind it.
Yeah new steel, just a reposition. There are concrete stairs leading to the old camera platform from the main stand that they can't just have leading to nowhere. Unless they want people walking the plank.
I thought they were putting more steal work, for even more seats. It is do-able
Taking an educated guess regarding the excess land you've mentioned, but I'd imagine the master plan of a fully redeveloped Anfield would require a new and expanded Kop to boot. That would almost certainly necessitate a restructuring of Walton Breck Road and the land acquisition of the Church and The Park pub, among other settlements etc (possibly even the nursing home). A long way off, for sure, but the excess land not in use, could be used to not only house a new hotel, corporate facilities etc. but also the current owners of the land they require? A New Park Pub perhaps?
See my comment above mate.
@@Steve-io5oh ahh, cheers for the heads up. Like I said, was just a guess on my part. :))
Build houses on the land behind main stand offer them to the people behind skd stand for redevelopment of skd stand
Exactly what ive just said
Great video Nick ,,ps on the empty plots of land ,they should build some housing on there so they can knock 2 streets down and rebuild the SKD like the main stand and you will get over 70,000 fans👍
We can go to 69,000 without infrastructure changes needed for the roads.
Thanks Nick for continuing to post footage of the new stand.
With the land that’s there I would make a guess that it could potentially be used as new homes if there was to be an expansion the size of the new main stand as they would need to rehouse everyone living in the first 3 rows of housing behind the SKD stand, it certainly seems like there is enough room there for the amount of homes that would be needed.
NICK, THANKS FOR YOUR DEDICATION!
All the Best lad. Appreciate the vids. All the Best to the toffees. May the force be with you 👊🏾☮️
Hi Nick, if you look at the stills at the end of your video you will see that the Annie Road Stand roof cladding still has pieces to be fitted to the facia at either end where it slopes up/down and joins both Main and SKD stands. Great to the Blues safe from relegation (from a Toon fan)
Mr Drone hi it is me again just to let you know please look at the last two videos you have done looking in the inside corner you will see the light silver steels are the oid ones and on ss skyyou can see the removed steels outside the enterance but now look at you latest video and all the dark grey steels are being added not taken away they are now building a platform .you can clearly see the two different steels '
Nick see they're putting in dark grey framework in the corner connecting the main to the Annie right behind where the arl TV seat was, look at the space for 6more seat's in the main stand. I think they're putting a floor in there and getting an extra 6seats in the main stand. All they'll need do is change barrier at the side a little and make it solid to stand on. Do you see what i mean
‘I’m Still Here’
Surely they're simply moving the platform back?
Hi mate, great videos as usual, been watching your channel since the beginning, which is odd being a Arsenal fan, I am concerned about the wind, I am not a expert but have you tried to see a doctor for the wind 😂
Thank mate for reminding me we're playing tonight. I really hoped I could've avoided it due to the emotional damage of the past couple weeks, so yeah. Thanks a lot, pal.
Well 1 up after 7 mins. So far, so emotional damage being resolved...
@@Dude0000 What did you think after the 90?
@@mikeoglen6848 I would say, but it would go against TH-cam's Terms of Service.
Mainly disappointed and dad for Klopp. He has too many young and inexperienced players, sadly, and no energy left to take them to their potential.
Is the remaining concrete , I suppose terracing that is left in the car park, Going to go on the new steel section in the corner?🤔🤔.
Can’t wait until the remaining seating is putting in place in the corner and the red boarding is taken down.
Obviously, they’re still a long snagging list to be done , but looking from a distance Anfield Road Stand looks almost complete.
UP THE REDS 🔴YNWA Sparky 🍻🍻
The weather has been mental down here.
At some stage a even richer owner will take over and build the 100,000 stadium that the biggest supported club in the world deserves
some new steel work going in!!
Sure is. Is it a new Camera platform or 🤷♂️
Thanks for the once over, Nick. I'd go with the idea that the camera position is being pushed back out of the sightline for the new seating area.
I'm still here
Thanks mate but you were beaten to it. Better luck next time 👍🏻
I've lost count of how many times I've posted this, not just on this channel but on every other drone operators covering the Annie Road expansion channels as well 😡
There are no plans to build a hotel on that first piece of land at the junction of Venmore Street, the City Council have already given full planning permission for 12 retail units (a mini mall) to be built on that land. As for the bigger piece of land adjacent to the 97 Avenue, the LCC have put that out to tender with the preferred option being a 'leisure development' that will bring additional visitors into the Anfield Parish even on non-match days. Full details can be found on the LCC's own website.
And I'm pretty sure Mr Drone here acknowledged that fact, but has now reverted back to the old unsubstantiated rumour.
I feel your frustration, pal.
There is talk about a Medieval Castle going in there...
HI Nick Thank you for the update.
Could they not use some of that land to built some low cost housing to cater for those people on low incomes or something built for the homeless.
Am still here 😊 drone is high, drone is low, looked at comments below and I'm to slow. 😂😂😂😂 Story of my life. 😂😂😂😂😂
Looking ftom the drobe a extended Kop end would it require the "new" club shop to be move as this would probably be in the way of a extended stand..Sadly I think Anfield is a mess now imo all the stands are different and it's a bodge job from a eye prospective only my opinion before folk go into melt down.
Totally agree with you!!
Thanks for the video Nick. Much appreciated....
But how in the name of christ does it take this long to sort out that small section of the Anfield Road stand???
The concrete needs 28 days to set
So chill
Re: the land around Anfield.
Its surprising how much land there is around the stadium, but what is the lack of vision.ks disappointing.
Listen to what MUFC are saying about a Wembley of the north (90k) and regenerating the whole area, same with MCFC, Real Madrid, Barcelona. LFC belong amongst those clubs.
Yes, we don't want a bowl design of a stadium, however more imagination and vision needs to be shown for the whole area.
MUFC have set up a board consisting of the mayor, business people, former players etc...
Surely LCC need to show some vision: let LFC expand the remaining stands so it's truly world class, get the public transport issue sorted, invite private investment. Anfield as an area should be a destination for people to enjoy on and off match days - a national football museum, a hotel, cafes and retail, restaurants, commission more murals so Liverpool has a distinct feeling to it.
With Everton/Bramley-Moore, Liverpool as a city and Anfield as an area would really benefit.
Taking United as an example you do realise they own Trafford Park (the land they intend to expand into) Liverpool Football Club in contrast to that do not own any of the surrounding land most of which is already accounted for (see my comment above) MUFC don't have an A-Class road on one of their boundaries either, an A-class road is under the control of the UK Governments Highway Commission and not under the jurisdiction of Liverpool City Council.
Of course every project has its own nuances and challenges, but vision and investment can cater to that.
Are you telling me A-roads have never been re-routed?
Houses never come under Compulsory Purchase Orders for regeneration?
Railroutes and stations reopened?
It's doable - not easy or straightforward, but certainly doable.
The A road is probably the easiest obstacle to expanding the Kop.... JUST APPLY TO MOVE IT!
It's not even a busy road 😂
It only needs an application to the government section on roads, and will not be refused if it seems to have little against it. The bloke above is totally correct about manu
Manchester does everything to help it's clubs and therefore the city, LCC and the Liverpool population are always "NO" before they have even thought about it. I could name numerous plans that were binned due to a massive lack of ambition and a large amount of "what's in it for me"
I have Anfield as the Wembley of the North at half the price, just needs Kop expansion to 23000 & new SKD with 25000, would take us to 86,000…..
Agreed, the potential is there for Anfield to be 75k, but it requires a little ambition and vision from local government
I always say Anfield is special because not of infrastructure but cause of the support and fans but off late atmosphere has been flat😢 agree?

No idea what they’re doing but that isn’t dismantling now, those are new steel beams going in pal.
👍👍
The empty land they could build a new housing for when they knock down the role of houses to extend the new stand
At 03:48 what do the boxes contain, back left ?
New steel
It looks like they are adding steel not dismantleing
The hotel was going to be built on the big of land next to the main stand. Not sure why idea got dropped.

No mate would love it if you were right Italian teams will close play down but hope mynt ave a £1 on 5.1 😂
The more I look at this ground I can't help feeling that it is, to look at from the outside at least, really ugly. Commiserations to being knocked out of Europe now. YNWA.
Still here

Is cladding missing from the front edge of the stand?
no, there has always been pieces of cladding missing, they cant finish it until the end of the season due to the machinery that needs bringing in
yes
Its ridiculous the amount of time this little section is taking.🤷♂️

Sorry, re the intro... and the landscape context. All that money and investment but I can not get over the juxtaposition of weeds, grafitti and starkness in your intro.... reminiscent of Michael Caine in Get Carter....come on reds think about local area context, subsidise a bit of a jetwash, weed removal and a few other things in the immediate area.....signes Stan Dards of Singapore Reds.
You can't really hold the club responsible for what happens on land they don't own or have any control over.
Them pink seats need changing
Had to laugh, just realised it would have made life easier for the workman if they'd taken camera gantry out before working on that corner.
I’m Still Here? 😮
Thanks mate but you were beaten to it. Better luck next time 👍🏻
Trophy cabinet extension cancelled
Since the rebuild started after administration the amount of work that was left & the time it has taken seems absolutely ridiculous. LFC are being had, it’s all going at a snails pace. Laughable really.
I am still watching but I don't want your money.
What’s wrong with my money? 🤷♂️😂
Nothing
The stadium itself is an architectural masterpiece.
It takes talent to build such a disjointed, abstract, conceptually ugly eyesore.
